Portillo's is pretty much unbeatable for Beef, most everything on their menu is Top Drawer

Phil Schmidts is great as long as you dont mind driving a half hour outside of the city in bumble Indiana and mind eating with white trash america.

Doesn't the General live in Indiana?

My best things about Indiana:

5. Powerball
4. Cheap Booze
3. Plenty of casinos
2. Takes you to Chicago (Interstate 94 - only 47 miles)
1. Notre Dame

I lived in Chicago from '75 to '95.
Just about ALL the retaurants mentioned are very good.
BUT, if you want a GREAT cheeseburger, go to:

Billy Goat Tavern
430 N Michigan
Chicago
312-222-1525

Remember....

Cheeseborger! Cheeseborger! Cheeseborger! Made popular by Saturday Nite Live, this restaurant offers good burgers and other fare. Remember: 'No fries, chips.'

Also...be sure you bring a video camera.
You'll definitely want to use it at the Field Museum and The Museum of Science and Industry. And don't forget Shedd Aquarium.
So manty places, so little time...LOL

Enjoy your stay.

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Rosebuds?
Must be new.
My two sons have an apartment on North Sheffield. One block from Wrigley.
Rosebuds anywhere near there?
