Yep. Just like it took 2 starters to be out for LA to lose last year.

Injuries are part of the game.

Who else was out other than Bynum? I remember Bryant, Odom, Gasol, Fisher, and Vlad all being out there.

Wasn't Paul Pierce hobbled for that series as well?

If you are trying to say that Bynum being hurt is the same as Garnett being hurt I'm going to have to disagree.

KG or no KG Lakers were the better team...easily... When KG was healthy VEGAS thought LA was the better team this year.

Ariza and Bynum. Ariza was the starter until he broke his foot.

PP was fine. He got hurt in game 1 or 2 and left on a stretcher then came back and dropped 40.

Regardless, I won't say those 2 are close to losing KG but if you want to bring up injuries as an excuss then so can the lakers. As I said injuries are part of the game.

Lakers 2 nasty... 2009 champs!

All it took was the best player from the defending championship team to miss the entire playoffs.

Congrats to the Lakers regardless.

Not sure how nobody has pointed this out in this entire forum but um, the Celtics made the playoffs this year.....C'mon people....

Yeah, guess I read that wrong....

Although Garnett is 32 going on 42 with all the mileage he's got on his body since coming into the NBA at 18, him going down for the season wasn't exactly a huge upset...He had been incredibly healthy his whole career and was pretty due at this point. Especially after last seasons 107 grueling games...
