Nobody likes John Mccain. This election you are either voting for Barackendash Hooseni NoBama or you are voting against Nobama.

In 2004 nobody except extreme liberals actually liked John Kerry. This country was either voting FOR George Bush or against George Bush.

If McCain were to pick Journeyman for his VP I'd still vote for him - these idiot Republicans need to lose the ego - the fucking alternative is Obama

Agreed. Obama is worse than Carter.

For real - we're talking about four fucking years - this is not one date with a fat girl - McCain is may not be some people's first choice - but it's McCain or Barrack - do the best you can do

Is there such a vacuum of talent in the repubs that you need to scrape a guy from the Sore and Loserman ticket for your VP. Truly a sad day if this happens.

If McCain is this inept at picking a vp can only imagine his cabinet.

I think it is time to seriously consider voting for Barr, Nader, or Dr. Paul (as a write-in).

Lieberman is secretly part of the neo-con conspiracy that got us into this Mid East mess known as Iraq.

posted this in another thread but let me know your thoughts

i will say this

mccain is running a much better campaign in the past month compared to that shitshow of a campaign he had from when he got the nomination to about a month ago...ever since he shook things up...much smoother

Behind McCain's Pro-Choice Veep Bluff

John Heilemann thinks he knows why Sen. John McCain's campaign floated the idea he might choose a pro-choice running mate.

"Well, what if McCain were planning to name a running mate who, despite being pro-life, the religious right has some qualms about? What if that putative V.P., indeed, had lately been criticized by another erstwhile GOP presidential runner -- a Baptist minister, no less -- for his shifting stances on social issues, stirring up a rearguard action among some Christianists to block him? Isn't it possible that McCain and his people are engaged in a bit of elaborate gamesmanship designed to make Evangelicals more grateful than they otherwise might be for the selection of that guy?"

"The heart doth sink and the mind doth reel, but I do believe what we are looking at here is the start of the Romney Rollout."

Mark Halperin essentially says the same thing.
