Yes, he is trying but for a price and lets not forget that.

Let do this, Since I am in the mood. I think the date given for Panams 10
extension for payment was Feb 1st. I cant remember exactly. When that date has come and gone. And Roberto issues another 6 month extension. Can we get rid of him please? A challenge to Roberto. When and if that date comes and goes will you leave? And leave the real watchdog stuff to the guys who actually do it with out any gain to them financially? I will put up something as well. I Will be happy to, Just name it. But this industry needs less of you thats for sure. I think its my job is to moderate the watchdogs. And listen to this. I wont charge a dime. Thats the way it should be. No 20% of fee's collected or anything like that. To this date I have seen all the forums help in payment collection. General here at the RX is doing it daily. Shrink, Major, Sting, and all the moderators do it daily.. And should be praised for the work they do. But to this day I have never seen them ask for a quarter. So stop praying on the victims. Just so people are clear on this. I want all the people paid that he represents. I never want to see another stiff book. But I also dont like to see people gain from others misfortune.

Please point out to me the watchdogs who do it without any regard to financial gain.

Just because they are not charging a collection fee does not mean it is a charity service...everyone is being compensated in some way.

And let's not forget Roberto is flying back and forth from Panama...should he be paying that out of pocket just from the kindness of his heart.

i don't mind giving roberto a percentage of any monies recovered from those crooks at betpanam. no one else has tried to help those of us who are owed.
most of the money is better than no money at all.

The difference here (Hopefully) is a new administration was elected in Panama. The new commisioner (interviewed by WILDBILL, not Roberto) said he believes the players should be played. Since this is the case i think more time is reasonable, we can only hope that this new government is being sincere.

:finger: Roberto got people skills.......:toothless

Bottom line is Roberto is the only one goin to panama doing whatever it takes to bring back what is rightfully owned by many players, stop complaining and try to find a solution like roberto did.

Roberto keep up the good job!!!!!!

This is the same guy that spent 2 years going after Intuition Bet and is still after his former employee, Marty from Panam. Remember him and Sting going back and forth for 2-3 years?

Remember how much we had to hear about the stolen data base and them marketing it at the other books they all went to? Anybody in the business can tell you that a database of names is worth zero. Everybody has the same one.

He also seems to enjoy putting in the time for senseless causes. Like I said before, how much has been paid? What is the exact amount? And how much is owed? How many extensions do you need before you get the idea that this is really over? I put the date of his next extension, which I believe was Feb. 1st. After that I feel he should just fade away.

I tell ya what. Next week I will go to Panama and meet with the new President. How would you know if I did? You wouldn't. Take a picture with the President of Panama. Then I may believe it. This clown actually claims to be meeting with the heads of sportsbooks. Then when questioned, they do not even know who he is. Which is what happened at CRIS last week. Then Shrink called him out on that one after speaking with Mickey. I know two guys who were owed that got put into another book in Panama. Funny I don't see anything posted about that. Ask the moderators here if they know of anybody getting paid. And if so who has helped them get the money. I know people have gotten paid. So how did they get it - anybody know? So I put the challenge out. Lets see if he takes it. If nobody gets paid by Feb 1st will he
kindly let it go away? If he proves me wrong, I will gladly leave this issue alone. But Feb 1st will mean its been over a year. So after that let's drop it please.

Frankie,

Seems like a fair deal. If the situation doesn't change in Panama by February 11th 2005 ( that is the correct date ), then Betpanam will be archived. Forever.

As to numbers : 7 players paid in full, 26 received an installment. Total of 64K. One player has been bailed out by a top notch book as the boys of Betpanam deleted his account after he managed to take a screenshot of it.

This is where I stand so far.

As per the situation in Panama : please send me an email and I will send you the english text of the complaint filed with the attorney general of Panama, which contains all the information, details etc you may wish to know.

A limited group of players, friends of friends, have indeed been bailed out by another sportsbook before Betpanam shut its doors on May 10th 2004. Their names do not appear on my list, they were "squares".

One of the main issue the new administration is being confronted with is the lack of documentation. I had requested several times the old Director of the Junta to seize the db. Remarkably he never followed up. Mind, apart from my request the law obliged him to act in such way.

So far the only certified balances are the ones of the first group I filed for, since we then agreed on an installment plan and there is ackonwledgement from Betpanam of balances owed. All digital documentation is on file. A handful of accounts are also certified being part of the "list" that Cybergaming approved, further to the meeting held on June 15th 2004 between Ricardo Chen ( Betpanam shareholder ), Herbert Young Rodriguez ( former director of the Junta ) and myself. To guarantee the payment of those 23 accounts cybergaming issued a Bank Guarantee of 181K ( 181,702.00 ).

What is currently being done, and I have been asked to help in this respect, is to gather any and all available screenshots that players not included in the above mentioned groups may still retain.

There's so much that went on in Panama since April that I could even write a book about it.

Players have to get paid. And they will. Lets talk about this again on February 11th 2005.

mickj, you hit the nail on the head Sir. I'm out of over 9K on this saga. I could have bought campaigns to generate 50 times the traffic this issue is producing, let alone the time, the headaches, the threats and whatever else has been going on.

Yes mickj, the site is gone, the db is gone, everything is gone. Unless you have a screenshot or you were on the original list there is no chance to certify your balance at this time. I believe its wrong. And I'm discussing the issue with the new director of the Junta ( this is one of the hot item on the table ). I am in possess of a list that was sent to me by Betpanam management, with the agreement of their shareholders, on April 16th 2004. I believe that this should be the tool sufficent to certify balances. Will be in Panama soon, likely by the end of November. Will go over the issue again and will take a couple of pictures as correctly suggested by Frankie.

Okay, great we got a deal. Also Roberto I do want pictures. Take one of you and the Panam investor you claim to meet with all the time. Chen is his name I believe. I also want one of you and this new Gaming commissioner.

How about some pictures inside their offices. How about you and the President. I want pictures. You gotta prove it to me. I dont want copies of papers. I want actual evidence. Also the figure is 64k in almost 10 months. That doesnt seem to much. How much was players deposits that were moved to the other book? Maybe this has been more harm than good?

And you say 9 dimes you spent. Doesnt seem like much since you used it to launch your site with. And constanly post to advertise your site for the last 10 months since this first happened. So if you are actually doing what you say you are doing. I will respect you. You turn out to be a fraud which is what I am betting on. Then I am here also. The funny part about my post is this. I dont care about you either way. But I watched you attack and attack people for years now. How does it feel to be the one getting it instead of giving it?

Great Frankie, we have a deal.

Being attacked is part of being exposed to the public. Doesn't really change things as long as one is consistent in what he or she is doing. Facts matter, words flow like water in a river.

I don't feel you've attacked me though. You have expressed a legitimate request which I will be honored to satisfy.

Thank you.
