Does anyone remember her?
Yeah, that's right, she played Kimberly Drummond on the TV show "Different Strokes"....
But before you laugh or dismiss this particular post, read on....this chick was a BAD, BAD girl and really blossomed into something quite different than the good-girl-next-door character we all remember....
In 1983 Dana moved in with rock guitarist Lanny Lambert, got pregnant and married him in 1984 and was promptly fired from from "Different Strokes" after the 1984 season, due to the pregnancy. She later returned to the show in 1985 / 1986, looking like a completely different girl.
Drifting in and out of show business, she appeared nude in magazines in 1989, showing off a figure that she kept hidden on "Different Strokes."
She made headlines again in 1992, when she was arrested for an armed robbery of a Los Vegas video store (she used a pellet gun and made off with a grand total of $164), was bailed out for $13,000 by Wayne Newton and received 5-years probabtion. In the same month after getting bailed out of jail, she was arrested for forging Valium prescriptions and served 30 days in jail.
Following her jail term, Dana appeared in a string of B-grade features including "Bikini Beach Race" (1992) and "Compelling Evidence" (1995). She even appeared as a scantily clad victim in a video game called "Night Trap" (1992).
She turned plenty of heads with her hot performance in the straight-to-video softcore porn film called (LOL) "Different Strokes" in 1997 where she had a few girl-on-girl and girl-on-guy-on-girl three-way scenes. And in 1998 she came out of the closet as a proclaimed lesbian in an issue of a gay pride magazine called "Girlfriends", but then later said she wasn't 100% lesbo ("just experimenting").
Tragically, she died of a prescription drug overdose in 1999.
