Tiger says right here that alcohol wasn't involved.

Woods released a statement Monday evening:

"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions. I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.[/QUOTE

I call BS, he is dumber than a bucket of rocks...

I believe it's pills. I'm going with whatever pain med he was prescribed from his back surgery. More than likely opioids along with some alcohol.

Looks like a Xanny and Patron cocktail. More Xanny than Patron but with that combo it doesn't take much.

Probably one of the few people who pulled for Tiger, I thought he was good for the game. Hate to see it and I hope he gets the help he needs.

Woods’ girlfriend, stylist Kristin Smith, the ex-wife of former Dallas Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh, learned about Woods’ arrest during a phone call she received inside a Neiman-Marcus store in Dallas, TMZ said.
Several shoppers said Smith “went crazy,” saying, “I knew it, I knew it,” the Web site said.
Smith then reportedly began crying, bought $5,000 worth of merchandise and left the store.

I guess she wasn't too upset, she managed to purchase $5k of merchandise after breaking down.

I don't hate Tiger, and I don't like how things get overblown and reported in this country. I'm not talking about posters and TheRX, I'm talking about those that sell hyperbole in very large quantities on a daily basis

I prefer to let the facts come out, as always

I'm going to suggest most people have been or should have been arrested for DUI at some point in their life, although I'm sure there are some exceptions

Things were a whole lot different just a few decades ago

Tiger's an all-time great, I wish him well

Good post. This is a tragedy, a self made tragedy but a tragedy nonetheless. I wish him well but he is a mess right now. It has been 9 years since he has won a major and with his physical limitations it is unlikely he will ever compete at that level again. Cocky and arrogant? No doubt about it, he was the best in his sport from 97-2010 and maybe longer.

Whether you like him or not, he was very good for the game and gave a lot back to the community through his Foundation. I too, wish him well and hope he can regain some of the game that has served him so well in the past.

It's a rich guy partying, who cares?

He got a DUI, going forward he'll spend some of his 500 million on chauffeurs. Hardly a tragedy.

9/11 was a tragedy, this guy just likes to get coked up or whatever it is he partakes in.
