Volume players earn more. Take a player that hits 70% winners, not likely to find them, but to keep the numbers clean this player is very selective vs a volume player that can hit 60% which is achievable.why why does he choose soooo many games??
Ummm nobody can hit 70% or even 60%. I would say maybe 1 in 100,000 players could hit 55-56% ATS across a large and statistically significant number of games.Volume players earn more. 70% player makes 10 bets of $10 = (+70 - 33) = $37
60% player makes 100 bets of $10 = (+600 - 440) = $560
If you are selling picks its nice to maintain the glossy win %. If you are trying to build a bankroll you a better playing any event that has a 52.7 win percentage provided your units allow you to get down on each selection.
Pros look at ROI.... not so much winning percentage. Very few "pros" out there. Maybe a couple of thousand people who can do it for a living contrary to what a lot of guys on here might fantasize about. You would be extremely wealthy if you could hit 56%. It's just not realistic to hit higher than 53 or 54% in a good year. 56% is almost out of the question in the long run.....sure in small sample size. No way people are getting 5600 correct ATS out of 10,000 picksThat's not true ..1 in 100 M can hit 55%-56% ...not even close ...top pro's hit it one yr ..maybe miss the next ..I would say 1 out of 100 gambler's can hit 55% ....and approx 10 out of 100 pro's can hit 55%
Just so you guys know the story behind this pick. The owner of Doc’s (son of Doc) told Jeremy the house NBA handicapper that today was going to be the day they were selling their NBA game of year. Jeremy said to the owner he really didn’t like anything on the whole board today. Owner told Jeremy to just pick something because he thought today would be a good day to win a game of the year. First day back from all-star break, build sales momentum before March Madness, whatever. And that my friends is how the Sixers is your 8* game of the year from Doc’s. If you guys think it is wise to buy picks, keep in mind how the business works behind the scenes.Doc NBA

Well it hit. The dart was lucky today.
See my post for the backstory of this pick. And yes, your thinking is correct, today would never be a day that a smart player would have a game of the year. But, Doc’s son is not the sharpest guy.Amazing that it's 1st game back from All-Star break and haven't played in a week and he has a GOY hell most smart gamblers won't even play the NBA till after they all play a few games
