If Baker plays at close to this level, he will get a decent contract next year from somebody, no not as a certain starter but one of those teams that want an "open competition" for the starter. Or he will start while a high draft choice gets ready. The rest of this season he will play a team or two with great front 7s and he will not do well in those spots, the RAMs OL is decimated, and the receiver corp is also hurting with injuries.
He is much better than the narrative on him here, and with the media. He has mostly played in a bad situation and / or with a dinged shoulder. SF is idiotic if they did not go after him.
I, myself, had LV, and sure did not think he would play more than a few downs, he actually played the whole game other than one series, and looked pretty good. No way, but he did.
