My daughter plays softball for Ohio University and we played at Campbell last year. Their baseball and softball facilities are awesome! Only downside was the campus was dry. Who the hell attends a dry campus?????

Haha! Yes in Buies Creek, in the boonies of NC south of Raleigh.. No alcohol due to Dumb baptist rules since isn’t a Baptist affiliated college . One reason I didn’t go there and they didn’t have football 25 years ago. My uncle Tommy was a Campbell baseball great Catcher many years ago, they named one of the fields after him and his daughters all were volleyball and softball players there and 1 at ECU. Great Law school too.

I've been following Monmouth since they have UNC former PG as head coach King Rice whom I knew as a kid, and now his son is their star. They should not be dogs here. Monmouth has the players to win this SU. Monmouth is 197th vs SB at 228. The offfensive side of the ball is where the biggest difference is and advantage for Monmouth. Mon. scored 85 last game and 80 last 3 while SB is avg 67 previous 4/71 previous 5

Really odd re: Campbell 1st half. I bet Campbell -1/2. They were down 4 and hit a 3 at the buzzer to get to within 1 point, so my book posted it as a loss. 20 minutes later I look and Campbell was up 39-38 at end of 1st half and my book changed it to a win. Never seen that before.

I saw the update too posted with Elon up 1 then it flipped . Thought my eyes deceived me. Someone must have stolen an inbounds or got fouled with no time and hit FT. Weird but glad it came through with a sweat !

Let's get it!
I forgot to include a couple more, with one top play in the early game. I gotta go with the Campbell Camels from my great state of NC against my Dad's alma matter where he played football with Country Boy Joe West the MLB umpire and where he grew up (Burlington/Elon College NC, Grandmother retired from Elon as Asst to the Dean after 54 years). I know both these teams and programs well, was recruited to play for Elon when they were the Fighting Christians, went to the skills camps at Campbell every summer. I think the Camels have the possibility of destroying the Phoenix. Elon is struggling bad recently and teams on a slid like this stay on it a while, esp against an Elon team that is 0-8 on the road and lost last to William&Mary (324th). This is a camels team that has beaten Hofstra and William& Mary by 13 on the road this a much better team than Elon is currently, and the Towson game most likely woke the Camels up. I have them about 7-10 points better tonight.

I'm playing
UCSB+5 tonight now. glad you asked.

UCSB shoots 3's outstanding and is ranked 14th, and 4th in FG%, While Hawaii is ranked 218th in FG% Defense and 235 in 3 point defense. Despite the long trip to the island, UCSB will be able to out shoot hawaii tonight, as hawaii's offense just wont be able to keep up, ranking 240th in offensive efficiency.
