Under 80.5 Connecticut-Detroit 2nd H

I know I said the over in the 2nd H looked good before the game as they seem to love going over in the 2nd H regardless of the # but I am going to the well by trying to middle this game total.

Detroit at one point was shooting a ridiculous 61+% from the field & are sitting at 54.4% at HT. I don't believe they can keep up this pace.

Connecticut is shooting a respectable 44.4% from the field but they are capable of increasing that pretty easily in the 2nd H & late in the 1st H they went on a run to cut the lead down as they outscored the Shock 14-7 over the last 4 in change.

The scary thing for the Shock is the fact the game isn't even being played at the Sun's pace as the Sun haven't been able to run up & down the floor due to the refs being whistle happy on both sides as there has been a combined 21 fouls called already.

The 2nd H total puts the game total at 177 & I already have 149.5 so I'm hoping for the nice middle here. I think the Shock slow down in the 2nd H & the Sun gradually take this game over & win by 5-7 points.

I just woke up, we missed this one:

quote:
*****Atlanta Braves ML @-190***** Santos vs Hampton. I was looking for some value to start the day off and Atlanta -1.5 is @-110 was tempting. Santos is being recalled from Oklahoma City AAA and will start today and i have a feeling that there is more than a little turmoil stirring up inside the Rangers organization. Santos could come out ready but i don't know about the rest of the team. Texas can hit and with Hampton pitching, there is a possibility that some runs could be put up and then on the other hand, Atlanta could light up Santos. Both teams are hitting well. I'm going with the Atlanta ML to start the day. Not much of a write-up or informative insight but that is what i'm thinking and i'm going with it. Good Luck!!!!! al watts

is there a +6.5?? I'd really like to go +7 -120 for 2%, -5 for 2.5%, I'm gonna sell NJ +7, O/U 185, I think, to the action. Any thoughts?? Guys, I'm f'ed up as hell, I feel like I'm sharper on SA than the line move, but didnt get a whole lot of useful info so far f/ my buddy. Did hear an interview with Spiro (not the OLY), who works in some capacity reporting for the Nets and NBA.com and after watching the Nets all year he says NJ didnt suffer from rust in game 1. More later, enjoy your evening
