What's happening is that it costs 10cents to buy 1/2 a point. It's really only worth 7cents so it's a bad move to buy half a point. You can move a line from 6.5 to 2.5 by paying 80 cents. So if a line was -6.5 -110 you can move it to -2.5 -190. Pinnacle is just testing to see what type of action they get when they put up these funny lines but the value is the same.
