baseball bettors are supposed to win..............lol

i wouldnt worry if they are "lucky" or "sharp"........my biggest concern would be....can they pay if they lose????

hundred to four hundred a position?
betting 3 to 4 dimes a day?

22 years old? these guys are probably blowing what they win on strippers and parties...

i dont have anyone that young on the book anymore, when i did they were strictly 25-50 dollar players...........

and they are new guys too????

you need to set a loss limit for them........or have them post some money up........

Hey thanks for the response, i have a loss limit set at a dime. I was just wondering if their plays looked that wise, i was going to eat the 1500 or so, call them off for a week or two and watch what they do. If they do lose it back, i atleast get a cut of losses that i call off. But if they just got lucky i will obviously just ride it out and hope they dump most or all back by end of monday.

dave..........picking and choosing what you book and what you lay off doesnt work.........

the only time you should consider laying action off is when the total book figure becomes more than what your willing to fade...

this can be controlled mostly by setting max betting limits...

alot of books make the mistake of "laying off a particular players action" instead of focusing on the total books action......and there is a reason........not enough total action on a particular game........

unless you have a large baseball book, you might find yourself heavy on several games or bets(especially with these types of plays)

picking up players late in the season on bases, is just like putting players on in nov. for foots........not reccommended

anybody can get hot for a couple of weeks......especially in baseball.....

i would fade % and lay off the rest, and hope they bet football

i dont have barely any baseball players, and noone putting this much glimmer in play. im just going to ride it out, they are going to be up about 2 dimes after tonite, hopefully they just dont win too much more.

you will have more headaches booking bases, than any other sport.....
