I know that the announcers are American and this is an American audience, but can they have a modicum of non-bias?

Dwayne Wade might single-handedly kill basketball with the style he plays. He has brought it back this Olympics, run wildly into the lane looking for a moving opposition player and then crash into him and pick up a blocking foul. That shit needs to stop.

The play is Over the 182. The US beat Spain in Group play 119-82. Spain has no defense. Gave up 86 to Lithuania. US goes well over 100 while Spain lands in the 80's. Not to mention, the US is out to leave no doubt which country has the premiere men's basketball team. Take it to the bank!

You pretty much described the NBA right there. Gone are the days of MJ floating in the air, avoiding contact and making the layup. This is the day of running into a defender and just throwing up it and hope it goes in. If not you get two shots anyways.

Agreed. But don't blame the players.

The players are playing according to how the calls are being made. If fouls are called so easily (as they are in the NBA) then the players are just taking advantage of it.
