OK SO i do the unthinkable the other day. I actually picked the romanians to beat Italy at +450 and had some pretty good coin on these bastards..

Man o man was i pissed off. So pissed off i went out that night and got pissed and forgot to unload my account on the spain vs sweden OVER 2...

Now here come the dutch who have been suprisingly beaten badly by these sons of dracula!!!! The dutch have zero interest in playing the Italians or the french.

They will rest their players.

But folks guess what these idiot Romanians are going to do..They will probably score one goal early then the whole freakin team will fall back into their own penalty box and never ever venture out again, probably giving up a useless goal to the dutch!!! Seriously..

Game two, france vs italy... Italy as a team are a bunch of useless cry farking baby wankers!!!! They bitch and whine about every little thing. They fall in the penalty area if you breathe on them even giving up chances for easy goals to beg for the free pk!!! And they go up against
Henry and a young bevy of pissed of Africans...err french players!!!
All those chances they had against Romania will not be present against the french backfield. Matter of fact i will say they will probably have about 15% of the chances the romanians gave them. They simply lack the fire power capitalize on this.

This isnt rocket science. Take youth over the old men of italy..France should win by two goals and i guarantee you this, the italians will be bitching and whinning the whole day!!!! they will be flopping about at every chance they get and we shall probably be treated to one of the best cry baby fests tomorrow afternoon.

Thuram might not even play this game. And when i say youth i really mean youth not just how old you are. There are players you are thirty that are more youthful than some one who is 28.. Case and point Henry.. He is a youthful 30 year old that keeps at it in the 80th minute unlike a luca toni a 31 year old who has played 186 mins scored zero goals and will probably be a starter for italy..Dont look for him to change his scoreless streak against france..

BTW..On posting that topic, about youth, i was totally going on what i saw on the field this year in euro 2008 and didnt have any hard stats.

On visiting the official euro200.com website, i found that the average age of the italian team is 29.13 vs the french at 27.9.

What is even more shocking about the chart over there is that 56% of the italian squad is over 30!!!! Compared to only 30% of the french team in that category..(Granted that some of those italian players wont even play a minute, it still makes my point valid because we expect similar adjustments by the french..ie benching Thuram)

Looking for better stats on who will actually start..

Ps..I would bet that all the football fanatics would agree, that right now the italians are a much older 29 than the french at 27(and this shows in their play because this is all i was basing my original post on without any hard stats like posted above)...I would love to hear from them..

yes they won WC against France...in 2006... I believe that italy has lost a game and drawn one game against France since then.

i already did my research and came back with hard stats proving the Italians are older. Perharps you should try reading the posted stats before you go up in a froth, confusing the issue here...ie Winning and making money instead of rooting for you worn out old men of Italy..

Italy has more superstars than any other team in this group, yet they have played two games, haven't won a single match and haven't showed much in either, coming up with 1 point out of 6 possible. Romania plays good soccer as a team, not as individuals, that's the difference with Italy right now, a team clearly on the decline. Yes Romania may not make it to the next round but the fact that you say Romania isn't a good team is a very stupid comment. They are there for a reason. I don't know what game you saw, but Romania played a darn good game against Italy.

The bottom line is if Italy hadn't performed so poorly in this tournament, they would not be in the position they now find themselves. This is a much tougher tournament to win than World Cup and Italy just don't have the horses.

If by some miracle Italy squeak through to the Quarter Finals they will get Spain and it will be curtains for them anyway. Villa and Torres will shred the Italian defense. Face the facts and you will feel better.
