Isn't almost every SB " the most watched super bowl ever! And ppossibly the most bet super bowl.ever as well........"?

I believe the title is referring to the match up as opposed to the items you mentioned. Of course you're correct. You would expect at least the money wagered to consistently go up on a yearly basis.

I want to see how they respond after that historical meltdown last week.....at least they went down the field & scored a fg to win when needed.....they responded quite quickly, no OT needed.

Last time they had a similar meltdown was Monday night vs Colts, they responded by beating Gbay the following week.

How they respond? You do realize they're playing Atlanta, right? I don't think beating Atlanta (who have been imploding for weeks now) will validate them for doubters that think the Giants game showed a kink in their armor. I think most non-gamblers expect them to soundly beat Atlanta. But if they have a nail biter, it will give people like Selectrick even more reason to doubt them.

No Way NE would be -3 to Carolina in Superbowl 50 - the line would be PK or -1 Carolina.

Doesn't matter neither will be there.

NFC - will send either Seattle or Arizona - AFC - well you know I think it will KC , but Pitt is making a strong argument - Denver, NE & Cinncy are wounded ducks

Arizona is waiting on Carolina. They knocked them out of playoffs ly with like their,4th stringer. Ariens > Rivera plus motivation and only edge I see Carolina having is better defensively and even there I feel Ariens will out scheme them. Zona defense are good enough to stop Cam! Being undefeated will be the kiss of death for Carolina as I truly feel they are not going to be able to handle a Zona team motivated and loose!

AFC is a crap shoot. Lean Pats but really don't think they get there. My gut feeling gun to head is one of the wild cards get there.

what is the total? 49 - 50?ish? I would lean Pats and UNDER (unless the total us much lower than I expect. I can tell you this issue gets raised in NE. The local radio hosts say "We should all root for an 18-0 Panthers/16-1 Patriots spread." I agree the line would be about 3. Unless Cam keeps throwing 5 TD passes a game, then maybe it would go down a bit. But the Pats would be small favs on a neutral field (assuming Edelman and Gronk are active)

Of course, making the assumption that the futures odds are based on the two favored teams making it to the Superbowl, it appears the spread will be a pick 'em. Will be interesting to see IF they both make it there.

You're right, both might now even make it, but if they do, I guess we may have a second str SB where the spread is a Pk?

I think it won't be a Pk, especially if either team goes nuts & blows out their opponents.

I think Arizona/Pitt, with Arizona winning. Even with Mathieu down that defense is strong.

As much as I dislike them, if the AFC championship game was today, I'd bet Pittsburgh would win it. Too much offense for any team in the AFC pool to hang with imo.

The early line has AFC -2 for the SB but I have a strong gut feel that AZ and Mr. Arians will be repping the NFC instead of a 2004 showdown repeat!

If they both make it, the Panthers will have likely had the tougher road. Means they beat some combo of SEA/ARI/GB probably. So if they come in 18-0 and just beat SEA and ARI that could inflate the line. Meanwhile in the AFC, after NE the wild card teams seem more scary than the possible division winners, both of whom might be playing with backup QBs. So the Pats could (in theory) get in by beating KC, and Den (with Brock) or Pitt and (CINCI -- with AJ?). That would be a less impressive streak (though Pitt is playing scary good lately). But because of the QB issues in CINCI and DEN, if NE makes it, it may not look like the toughest road.

Yes, combination of going 18-0, beating Seattle/Arizona combo IMO would have Carolina -3

Everyone loving Pitt to be AFC rep. Highly unlikely to happen. They can score but they can't stop anybody. Pats would be a 1-2 pt fav over any NFC team.

They did have the 32nd easiest schedule this season. You. Are correct sir.

That has to be the largest bag of horseshit from one of those poor nags that has to drag tourists around Central Park. Let's start with the worst division in the league, the NFC East. Then let's move on to the worst division in the AFC, the South. Man, the location says Chi-town but you have to be in Denver where weed is legal. Panthers are in and as far as I know, Atlanta hasn't been eliminated and Tampa Bay is pretty damn good this season. Yeah, Saints are the dregs, but to say the Panthers played the softest schedule, you're out of your damn mind. Then went into the Boom Boom Stadium and took care of business, and that's just another step on the ladder to winning. They'll smack the Pack if it comes to it, I guarantee it.
