Preview: Cleveland at Buffalo.
When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, December 18, 2016
Where: New Era Field, Orchard Park, New York
The Buffalo Bills, who have lost five of their last seven games, attempt to avoid the ultimate embarrassment when they host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. With rumors of his impending firing swirling, a loss against the winless Browns could spell the end for Rex Ryan's time in Buffalo.
The Bills were embarrassed last week as Le'Veon Bell gashed their defense for 236 yards in a snowstorm in Buffalo. Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, however, guarantees that it won't happen again this week. "We're not going to be the team that busts (the Browns' losing streak) on them, no," Dareus said. "Nobody in the league wants that to happen." Cleveland, which has lost its last dozen games on the road, got back the services of Robert Griffin III at quarterback a week ago but he did little in his return as the Browns were thrashed by Cincinnati 23-10.

ABOUT THE BROWNS (0-13): Griffin threw for just 104 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in his first game back under center since suffering a
shoulder injury in the first week of the season. Griffin managed to rush for Cleveland's only score and Isaiah Crowell gained 113 yards on 10 carries but the Browns generated little offense elsewhere. Cleveland ranks both 31st in the league in scoring offense (15.9 points) and scoring defense (28.8) and appears headed to the No. 1 pick in the draft.
ABOUT THE BILLS (6-7): LeSean McCoy needs just 24 yards to go over 1,000 for the season for Buffalo, which is the league's top-ranked rushing offense, averaging 154.6 yards a game. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who has battled a foot injury for the bulk of the season, caught his first touchdown pass of the season last week. The Bills rank seventh in the NFL defending the pass, but Ryan's vaunted defense has been gouged on the ground, allowing 125.8 yards a game, which ranks 28th in the league. The Bills have surrendered at least 21 points in six of the past seven games.
EXTRA POINTS
1. All of the Browns' last five losses have come by double figures.
2. Buffalo star DT Kyle Williams was a late scratch last week and remains questionable with a back injury.
3. Cleveland WR Terrelle Pryor, who leads the team with 63 catches for 858 yards, managed just one catch for three yards last week and agreed with Cincinnati's Adam Jones' assessment that his performance "was garbage."
