There might be 1 or 2 people at this forum that get tired of me being “negative” which actually represents about 25% of the posting community that still exist.

But I would say well over 90% of the people that no longer post here agree with me which is a much larger pool of people then the 2or3 people which represents half of the remaining posting community at this forum .

Bottom line is this thread sucks for many reasons and the only reason there aren’t 25 people in this thread +1ing my post is simply because they don’t visit the site anymore .

So what does one consider racist?

I'll give you an example of what I think being racist is without a doubt.

Last night a guy kept referring to a white player on Purdue as a cracker.

That's racist.

Calling a black person the N-word is racist.

Calling a Hispanic a spick is racist.

Calling someone of Asian descent a gook is racist.

I see none of that here.

Wishing death on an entire race could be racist and extreme, and probably why a poster would receive an infraction.

Posting images in reference to a poster's ethnicity might be racist.


But when someone uses stats and facts to argue something, is it being racist, or having an opinion?

It gets tricky and a judgement call.

If you don't want to read it, just don't click on it. There are tons of threads I don't read because I have zero interest. When you clicked on a Muslim killing thread, what did you expect? That the Yankees win total over/ under was going to be discussed?

At least Hache lets you state your opinions and gives you a chance to back it up. Others in his position simple scream racism and thats that.

Mob uses the term "faggot" all the time here. Nothing is ever done but it's ok for him to accuse me of using homophobic terms which I've never done at the RX. You guys are never ever consistent in what you enforce/don't enforce.

I am far from soft if you referring to me .
Although I disagree with much of what you say it does not enrage me.
I have never been enraged by anything you have ever posted .
It would be almost impossible for someone on a message board these days to rile me up .

The point is I’m looking at this from a business and entertainment perspective .
And although I don’t get personally raged by comments you make and people like you make, other people do .

And from a business perspective threads like this suck.

There is no entertainment or educational material in this thread .

It simply sucks .

I don’t think it might be but it could be .
Depends on how many facts the person pulling the trigger has before blowing everything up .
But that is just my opinion .

As long as they don’t use the N word before blowing everyone up they should be ok though

I don't use the N word but wouldn't see what the big issue is on here being they say it damn near nonstop. Also, cracker is commonplace. If that is said on here, no one would even bat an eye

I just don't get offended but whatever.

I fear for the generation behind me because what I see happening they actually want to happen. They cater to these minorities all out of fear of being called a racist. Would be very bad if only people under 30 voted.
