The poster makes a decent point that almost none of the info on Cascade is first hand. He is just and right to question it as all should. There certainly is, in my opinion, a preponderance of sufficient evidence to warrant caution. The forums are not perfect but at least players get a feel for something not being right.

Obviously if there is known trouble, posters should be warned, but when one person or 2 people have a hardon for a book and the same issues keep coming up and coming up and coming up, when is it time to protect the book being punished. How many false accusations need to be thrown at someone, that person prove everyone wrong and yet has to sit back once again a go thru it for a 3rd 4th 5th time befor this site or anyother will stand up for a book that in the past has paid them lots of money?

Lenny is a wonderful person, and has an awesome sportsbook. Perhaps you guys may remember that he was the first guy to pay the Finger Lakes bettors. If in fact, he is experiencing problems, honorability should prevail. He wants to do the right thing, and IMO will always do the right thing. People should worry if they are playing with a book that doesn't want to do the right thing. EVERYONE has had problems at one time or another including books that everyone here thinks have more money than Bank of America. Did they recover? Every single one that i know of. The ones that didn't recover were ones run by slime that never had any intention of doing the right thing in the first place.

But in this case, you let all your readers drain the bank accounts of books that paid you money for years. Banks are full.

I always love to see people post stuff like this. I'll say it again: THAT MONEY IS NOT THE BOOKS' MONEY!

If players pull their post-up and winnings from a book, that should be just FINE. It is the players' money! Now, of course, if a book is operating off of post-up then I guess it might hurt, eh? But no book operates on post up, right??? So, no problem if balances get taken down.........

These forums serve great purpose. Look for all of the good and dont focus so much on a few negatives. We all have good and bad days.

Let's try and get along more often.

Rog,
I agree with you but pulling all the money cuts down on how much players bet. That hurts any operation. If it is based on just agenda rumours, well thats wrong.

The only days we go here without some unfounded rumor or clear cheap shot being posted are the days the site is down. Sad, but true. Nothing can be done because for everyone that complains unfounded rumors are getting press, there will be just as many complaining that the site isn't doing its duty to inform. No way you can make everyone happy no matter what you do around this place...
