For this week, Contestants must submit their weekly selections by 9:00 a.m. PST (NOON EST) this Saturday. In the instance a contestant wishes to use any game that starts before this 9:00 a.m. (NOON EST) deadline their weekly selections must be submitted prior to the Thursday start time (5:25 pm PST) (8:25 EST).

The 5th Annual Hilton Style NFL Handicapping Contest​

Introduction:
Welcome to the RX's 5th Annual Hilton Style 2016 NFL Handicapping Contest. Last 4 years, we've had 49, 93, 100 and 117 entries. The pot has grown every year since it's inception when the 2012 pot was as mere $7350. This year's will be over $20,000! As was the case with the CFB Contest, this year we are smashing records. Even with the 33% bump in entry fees, post-ups are fast approaching the record set last year of 117. Still 2+ days to go so who knows what the ceiling will be. A lot of RX veterans are returning, in hopes of cashing in on one of the top 10 prizes. Winners from previous years include gijoe (2012), JohnBay (2013), gijoe again (2014) and jerbeek (2015), the defending champion.

Setup:
* The season long Non-Refundable Entry fee is $200.
* Contest Runs for the duration of the NFL regular season, 17 Weeks from Sept 8, 2016 - Jan 1, 2017.
* Lines will include all games from Thursday to Monday each week.
* Money Order Entries accepted until Wed, Sept 7th.
* Pay Pal Entries accepted until Sat, Sept 10th.
* ALL Payments must be received by Sat, Sept. 10th 2016 @ 3pm ET.
* Entries must be submitted before making selections for Week 1
* Max 2 entries per poster.
* Only RX Members can enter (You MUST have an RX User name and have at least 10 Posts).

Contest Rules:
1) This Contest is based on picking winning teams against the Spread. Contestants must make 5 selections per week. (Sides Only)
2) Contestants may not select both sides of the same game. Any violation results in a double loss.
3) Any selections that are duplicated will be graded from left to right...leftmost by the actual outcome and any duplications to the right will be automatic losses.
4) Each winning selection will be credited with one point. Ties (pushes) will count as 1/2 point. Contest winners will be determined by the total number of points accumulated during the NFL regular season.
5) Contestants must submit their weekly selections by 4pm Eastern time each Saturday afternoon.
6) Players choosing to include a selection(s) from games scheduled on Thursday, Friday or Saturday must submit their entry before the start of the earliest game on their card. Any selection posted late will be an automatic loss.
7) All 5 plays must be submitted as one entry. Making a Thursday pick and then the remaining 4 later on is not allowed.
8) Otherwise, any contestant who fails to submit weekly selections by 4:00:59 pm Eastern time on Saturday will receive zero points that week. This time deadline will be strictly enforced. The google timestamp will be used as the official posting time.
9) Weekly Lines will be posted each Wednesday Night (The LV Hilton SuperContest Lines will be used).
10) Tie-breaking rules:
Tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine first place only. Entries tying for second through 10th place, will equally split aggregate prize money from the respective place. If ties exist after the NFL regular season for first place, the champion will be determined based on the entry that accumulated the most contest points during the final three weeks of the regular season. If total points accumulated during the final three weeks is equal most points accumulated during the fourth to the final week will determine the winner, and so on weekly (in reverse order), until the tie is broken. In the unlikely occurrence of a tie after the tie-breakers, co-champions will be declared and the aggregate prize money will be split equally.
11) All paid entrants selected a 4-digit code when signing up. Enter this code at the bottom of the google form (see Format Section below) when filling out your card. This serves as extra security so that we can confirm your identity. Be accurate! Wrong code means invalid entry and plays will not count.

Format:
* A Google Form will be set up with a link to submit your selections.
* An accompanying spreadsheet will accept your responses with picks hidden until the deadline.
* Standings will be posted on Tuesday mornings on a viewable Google Spreadsheet with tabs for Weeks 1-17, making it easy to go back and reference your progression.

Please Note that because of my Traveling Schedule ( most know that I travel back and forth from NY to FL during the Winter Months) That Payouts will be delayed
I Do Not keep all the money in PP that I collect for multiple reasons. Especially the fear of the account being Locked.

So I will be able to Start Paying out a couple of days after Jan. 1st, but the Bulk of the Payouts Won't be until Jan 10th when I return from FL.

Also, The Top 3 Winners will be broken up into multiple payments ( which is something I normally do ) when it's a large amount.
Because I do not want to raise any red Flags, and I'm sure you don't want to as well.

* After the Contest Please PM me the information on which way you want to be paid. ( PP or Money Order ) Anyone wanting a MO as payment, there is a $1.50 fee for each $1,000 money order.
