Edges Out "mooshroma" By One Game To Garner The Victory
Congratulations to "The Computer Group", winner of TheRX's 2nd Annual College Football Hilton Style Handicapping Contest. With the win, he collects $2227.50 for his efforts. He went 10-2 the last 2 weeks and had to have everyone of those wins to nip mooshroma 53-52 in total points. mooshroma takes home $990 for second. Hard charging boxgames came on in the last 4 weeks with a best overall 18-5-1 mark to grab 3rd place and $495, holding off thekeyman, last year's winner by a point. thekeyman settles for $346.50. Next came trentmoney & stump with 47 points. trentmoney was cruising along until he began to stumble around the week 11 mark and limped home with an 8-16 record L4 weeks. These two joined 6 others, including a 3-way tie for 10th place, to scoop up the final 5th-10th place payouts, giving all concerned $111.37 each. A final shoutout to our trusty banker, Betallsports, who made a valiant 6-0 effort in the final week to fall just one game short of the money. Don't forget he donated an extra $75 entry fee toward the final pot, so join me in thanking him for both his generosity and banking prowess in making this another successful event here at theRX. congrats to the computer group on taking the title this year,and congrats to all the other winners of the contest.this was a fun competitive contest once again and it was really good to see the rise in people entering this year.hope for more entrants next year to join all the good cappers we have here.

Hey guys, in an effort to keep things status quo, I had to make a change in the final payouts for the 5th-10th place finishers. As happened last year, there was once again a tie for 10th place which added 2 more to the payout list. Since 5th-10th all paid out equally as stated on the rules page, that group should all be awarded the same amount, no matter where they finished. These last 6 places were to receive 18% of the total pot. This amounts to the lump sum of $891. With 8 posters qualifying, each should receive $111.37. I believe we sent out one over-payment in error so hopefully that party will return it and we can settle up correctly. Sorry for any confusion. I made the correction in the FINAL STANDINGS post.
