Well yeah, I started to type that...but (don't laugh) I honestly could not recall if I won or if I had finished second. (too lazy to chase the thread). I recall we shuffled some $$ between us and at the time I think I owed ArtiesLiver some money for a Yankee/Ray wager......yada yada....oh shit....damnit........

most contestants place their picks much earlier than before first game time so if you wanted to do either, you would have that option. I, for example, usually put mine in the day before in order to take advantage of what I think are soft lines. Keep in mind we are using live lines and they do move quite a bit from the openers to closing.
Coming down to the last week of the season we can email/pm our choices so that tailing/fading is not possible between the top contenders. These choices are not revealed until after the first game starts.
In the past there hasn't been any problems that I know of with tailing/fading. Some people like to post their plays early, others always post at the last minute (dangerous, because if you're even 1 minute late your play will not count). Because we're using live lines, tailing/fading is very difficult and if you try you will likely end up getting the worst of it - but it's a strategy you're welcome to employ.
