It's too late now. I think you and I should decide immediately (before any scoring today) if we want the trade to stand or if we want to mutually cancel/postpone.

I will leave it up to you CHOP but please choose which option your prefer immediately.

I was not sure.
I will put it to you this way.
I wish it did go through today.
Would much rather be playing Woodhead today instead of Tolbert.

I know. That's why it made sense for both of us :)

For others:

The trade is/was Phillip Rivers and Daniel Thomas for Danny Woodhead and Ben Rothlesberger.

Well Woodhead just scored and you haven't replied so not sure how to figure this out now. Had hoped you'd decide one way or the other...

Did you read the post from 30 minutes ago? I gave you the choice of taking back the trade or keeping it. If you wanted to void it we could have agreed to just trade the players back if the trade went through...

No I did not see it.
Would not have mattered if I did.

There is no deadline, it is/was up to you and I if we wanted to void the trade and wait to see this week's game before we decided to go through with it. It was 1:03 pm but I offered you the choice until there was any scoring. In any case let's just be clear and decide for sure now. Again, I'll leave it up to you.

1) 'Void' the trade (gentleman's agreement and we would just trade back if it went through) or
2) Keep the trade

I would prefer the 1st option but either way is ok with me as long as its clear. You make the choice CHOP. I'll accept either way.

What I meant by deadline was 1PM is the deadline for having Woodhead on your Roster for today.
That would be the only real reason to cancel a trade today is for you to have Woodhead on your team today.

I would have cancelled it if I had known you did not have him in your lineup.
I figured you would have left him on there in case the trade did not get completed in time.

Thats what I would have done.

If any of the players I was trading you was a player I would have played today I would have certainly had them in my lineup until the trade was complete.

I planned to play Keenan Allen over Danny Woodhead in any case but I also planned to play Rivers over Ryan. And you certainly would have played Woodhead.

Since we both thought we'd have the players available today when we made the play I just wanted to offer you the chance to take it back, see this week's games and then choose to make the trade or not. Seemed like it would give us more knowledge when we have to make the decision. But the trade did/will go through so we can keep it if you want. Just let me know clearly. I am not sure what byou want to do from your last post.

Again, your choice just be clear.

So basically what you are saying is I get called a dick head if I choose option #1 and not canceling the trade you offered me?
Is that what you are saying.
If you wanted to offer the trade next week it would have been a good idea for you to offer the trade next week.

I dont understand all this wait till they see what they do this week talk.
I dont see the trade not going through today having anything to do with that.

So no, Im good with the trade you offered me.
I dont care if Woodhead tears his ACL on the next play and misses the rest of the season, and Rivers throws for 500 yards and 10Td's. Thats a chance I will have to take.

And I dont consider myself a dickhead for that.
And if we took a vote on it I dont think anyone would disagree.

I made the trade with the thought that I would not be able to play Woodhead today as a possibility.
But the trade being accepted or rejected did not hinge on it being accepted today or not being accepted today.

If there is a trade that you think helps your team. One game should not change that opinion very much.

No, as long as no one gets injured probably not. Just seems like it would give us the option. We'd probably still do the trade but we'd have the choice. In any case it sounds like you want the trade to stand so we'll leave it at that.

For the record I would not have made the trade if I knew it wouldn't go through before game time. I would have just waited through today's games and then offered the trade. But its fine.

Let me say it now.

If Rivers gets hurt today please dont come begging to cancel the trade.
If Woodhead gets hurt thats on me.

I'm not going to beg to cancel anything. I was just giving you the option before anything was decided.

The trade stands.
