Shale -
Feel free to survey members.
Initial thought -
I like ,5 ppr. Good mix
Lean toward removing 1 roster spot. I think our waivers were ok last near - not too sparse
Don’t like real money faab - can’t see reasoning

A few points:

1. If no openings come up, I will either give up my spot to Possum, or possibly work with him in some way. I took his spot late last year, and I probably should have just given it up when he said he wanted to come back. So, I am in, or at least, that spot is filled.

2. The league rules were good last year. 0.5 PPR is good, I am OK with the roster spots as they were, and do NOT bring in real money FAAB.

3. Off topic - the only redeeming factor of this site is some of the people and the contests/leagues. Posting plays across the street this year where people still want to talk about handicapping/sports. Sad.

Agree on No real money FAAB

I prefer 0.5 or 1 pt ppr - i do NOT want it to be 0

indifferent to roster spots or IR. You guys choose

I like all of the rules from last year EXCEPT free agent bidding. I think there's enough strategy in maintaining your waiver position and I just think people don't like dropping to the bottom

But I know I'm in the minority

Go ahead and let heatwave keep the spot. And if anything opens up, reach out to me.

And for the rules if i can put my 2 cents in

Drop 2 roster spots and open up 2 IR spots.

.5 or 1 ppr either is fine for me

no on the free agent bidding game. Its just by position in the standing worse gets the best free agent pickuo,

no real $ for the free agent pool

And another option would be a high score for the week. Like another league i'm in is if you lose your game that week it costs you $20 and the high score of the week gets that pot money. We do a true up like every 5 weeks. We have seed money so like this league i'm referring to is 10 teams so you have $100 for the week + with the way we do the fees actually that high score for the week gets $180., But that is hear nor there.

Just a few suggestions

Nah, I stand by that. If a spot opens up, that will be mine. Possum can take my spot, as long as I get first other opening if one exists. I am in a lot of other leagues.

To add onto the early rule change feedback:
  • I like (-2) roster spots and (+1) IR. Post draft, it's insanely hard to find good players and largely comes down to luck. Would be nice to index performance a little more towards in-season strategy vs. draft.
  • .5 or 1 PPR works
  • Don't like real $ budget... plenty of strategy as it is with the $100 allotted.
  • This might be inappropriate coming from last years winner, but can we put the survivor component up to a vote?
All that said, this is a GREAT league, so I'd be perfectly happy continuing as is.

Survivor is optional .
You vote with your wallet
If you want to play survivor send in an extra $50
If you don’t want to play survivor don’t send the $50

Picking a draft date should be easy for me this year. Just not the Tuesday and Wednesday before opening night Thursday. Two leagues I run draft every year on those nights
