I am officially protesting this game. There is absolutely no way that a team whom played today should have been able to be dropped for a player tonight. Please explain this one to me that makes absolute zero sense. Because I cannot figure out why? Am I wrong? Please let me know if I am. It is not my fault that I scored so low, but allowing the Allen for Steelers transaction to be valid is just wrong.

Think we need a commissioner ruling this transaction invalid. If not a league vote.

Is there anywhere to change that for yahoo?
i know espn you can’t drop anyone after their game kicks off. But yahoo you can. Couple guys take advantage of it every week. Because you can drop someone if you don’t start them

Someone please explain to me how in the hell you are allowed to drop a team defense or player that has already played for the day and able to pick up a player?
As long as the player is not in the starting lineup I don’t see the issue

On CBS you can't pick up any player after 5 minutes before the first game on Sunday excluding London games. And players on teams that already played are completely frozen.

On my local league in My Fantasy League we had a hassle over this too. Somebody dropped someone who played on Thursday night. The way the rules were set up it was legal to do so nothing we could do about it. I agree with Shale that it shouldn't be allowed but since it's set up that way there's nothing against the rules. It should be changed before next year. It's not going to affect me because I am 1-8.

If it was not allowed in the rules to drop someone who had already played, the Black Widow could have dropped Dak Prescott instead and still beat you.

Yahoo's "settings" doesn't even address that stuff, so I guess it's allowed (obviously)

I don't mind add / drops being allowed until a player's team plays, but I don't really like transactions involving players from teams that have already played. Just my two cent

Yeah she could have/should have had to drop Dak or Cobb.

I've never been in a league where players weren't locked to be added or dropped after there game had started for the week (this is my only Yahoo league). I would swear this wasnt allowed previously in this league but maybe I just never tried it because I assumed it wasnt allowed.

Having said that, I guess I did do it earlier in the day when I dropped Mostert for Enunwa. I didnt end up starting Enunwa and didn't even realize what was being allowed. It honestly felt like the previous week since he hit the IR and was surprised when I saw I hadn't dropped him yet.

So...I dont know. If it's been allowed all season and wasnt just a glitch pickup, I guess it should be allowed, but it should be changed for if possible in settings.

I also am not a fan - but have always known it was possible to do
if anyone knows how to change it we can put it to a vote before next year - but I am not seeing an option to do so on yahoo

Fucking dirty! Of all the leagues I have ever played not once have I been able to add a player after that roster spot has been played. Don’t give shit if there were two players on roster that had not played yet, I am not objecting add/drop in that case. The fact that Greg Olson was on the roster (and even had Olson on the staring roster for a short period of time) for availability and was not used is team managers fault. Next year this loop home needs to be closed. Granted I should score more the 78 points, it pisses me off that the transaction was able to happen.

I just checked the yahoo message boards and there isn’t a setting to disallow
only option would be to change platforms next year if this is a deal breaker for people

I don't think fucking dirty is a good way to describe what GGW did....in fact it's pretty rude. She did what was allowed in the rules.

GGW did nothing wrong, I didn't even know who was involved when I did my researching on the issue

If the rules allow it, they allow it, and I concur Yahoo may be the only platform that does allow this exact type of transaction

But Yahoo is also free

My son has Gronk in a league I run. He tried to pick up Allen and drop somebody who was on a bye 30 minutes before kickoff. I had to tell him the bad news, CBSSports locks all roster changes at 12:55 PM EST on Sundays

But Yahoo doesn't

Sorry guys. I was at work when I got the alert that Gronk was out. I was just going to drop Cobb but it allowed me to drop Pitts D. Wasn’t trying to play dirty. So sorry.

Chugs/cowgirl - sounds good. Grats

ggw- don’t apologize. Has been the setting forever in yahoo. Just happens to have made a difference here. Didn’t do anything purposefully deceptive

I just reread my post above GGW. I hope you didn't think I meant what you did was rude because that is not what I intended. You followed the rules.
