I don't know why you wouldn't feel right taking money outside of the pot. Anybody else has the same opportuity to make you an offer. You told me earlier when I wanted to auction off the picks that draft position didn't matter.

what he's proposing is if say 4 guys want the first pick, they auction it and maybe it adds another 40$ to the pot, and so on for the picks after. i don't think draft position matters, i had the first 2 overall picks last year and sucked.

well you do have me there but now that i was lucky enough to get first overall again id trade it for a better crop of picks rather than swapping positions and cash

i agree. Even tho buying picks and buying players is different and cy isn't privately offering money. It just gives me a gut feeling that I can't accept the money

It makes no difference in the draft for the rest of you whether I draft first or NBA Capper. This is the fairest of all trades done on here. I threw it out on the message board for everyone to see. I offered a guy who said draft position didn't matter a chance to reduce his entry cost at a different spot in the draft. Anybody else had an opportunity to raise my bid. How do we know if there isn't any money trading hands under the table on trades. Yes Dude I was rewarding a guy who hit a random draw for the second year in a row but when you've got hosed every year on the random draft order process I felt it was warranted.
