I'm pretty sure what I quoted thedude as saying 1-2 pages ago is the payout. Thedude said what it was and everyone was fine with it.

I'm fine with whatever really, I just didn't wanna see people being like WTF and think they were owed money at the end since that would suck.
Yeah points is the tiebreaker but best record gets that $500 or whatever, not total pts.
I'd prefer total points since best record gets a 1st rd playoff bye anyway whereas points someone who crushed it but got a worse record gets a chance to be rewarded. Either/or is fine with me but hopefully we can finalize this...
So we are clear- playoff seedings are determined by Yahoo, correct? If one clicks on the playoff bar above the current standings, yahoo does the projected seedings as of today...The tied team with the most points are listed first...I do not see any mention or tracking of h2h...best regular season standings apparently would be determined by yahoo as well, using the same protocal as mentioned above, correct? Their is no mention of h2h by yahoo anywhere...is this correct??? Buffalo Bob......
I tend to like the idea of most points getting the 500 instead of best record (who will already get the playoff bye as already mentioned). Most points can would also reward someone who has done well with their team overall but has just not been lucky with the head to head matchups and it seems fair that this should be somehow acknowledged. I am however fine with whatever people want. Is it worth having a vote? Again, however people want to do it is fine with me but I think it would be smart to settle this for sure by Sunday.
Grog - since your sitting third in total points, i can see why you would be in favor of the total points theory : ) however, " best record "is just that - best record...if one goes back to late august in this thread- before the first game was played, the dude indicated that the prize payout would be Best record $500- there is no further mention of any other prize structure prior to beginning of play, nor any finalization of most points- any change after 10 weeks of play , by vote or otherwise, would be unfair and questionable at this point ...Chop said he would double check...My two cents...Bobbflo

If I had to choose, I would go with most points...Not Best Record
But I have the same opinion as TheDude earlier in this thread when he pointed out that he's in this league to win serious dough.
Of course I wouldn't mind getting my fee back in the end but I'm not in this for a full season just to try to win my $500 back in 3rd place lol.
Either way whatever the majority is I'm just happy we all got together to make this happen!
