chop I agree Wilson, Miller, etc have little trade value right now but you could expedite this process greatly if you just rattled off the 4-6 RBs you would take back in a deal for Manning in this thread rather than have people like GROG guessing and thinking he has a shot.

Foster
Forte
McCoy
Moreno
Martin
AP
D Murray

etc

I would take all of those except for Moreno and Murray.

Would trade Rivers for Moreno and Murray.

If anyone is in need for a QB I can trade Rivers who is currently the#3 or #4 QB for a flex running back or RB#2.

That would be a steal for the right team.

lol moreno was a joke cause I got him. Murray I just tossed in figured you might have him in that tier.

I do think you are better off being specific than saying RB1 or RB2 type stuff though. That is very vague and pretty much all of us overrate our own players on some level so people will tend to think you are speaking about their guys. I.e David Wilson

Your team would be much better with Rivers for Moreno then it would be without Rivers.

I know you say you dont care much for Rivers but ELI is killing you.

Rivers would do your team a lot more good then Moreno would.

I'll have to disagree. No interest in Rivers really.

I think I can mix and match QBs and do much better than baseline. Or just deal for another 1 for a lot less than a solid RB

Chop - i would like a WR.
Only situation is i only have 3 really good RB, and Pierre Thomas (who did have a great week and is getting more looks with Ingram out).

So i can't really trade you a RB for a WR....

unless we want to get funny and do a trade where i get some sort of combo (maybe Manning and 1-2 WR) - and you get a stud RB, and maybe i give you a QB like RG3.
Then you can have RG3 as trade bait (i have already had 3 people looking to get him from me and offered good WRs)

I feel like we are all trying hard to wheel and deal in this league - but sometimes it is tough with 12 teams, shorter benches, not a ton of RB depth in general, etc..

You ONLY have 3 good running backs? LOL

poor thing.

You are the only team in the league who has 3 running backs.

I gots 1 as does most other teams in the league.

I will trade you any receiver on my team for the right back.

Him/Graham/Alshon for Manning/Green/VD

Peyton Manning for a good running back.

Grog.

I would offer you Rivers for someone like Woodhead or the other guy you keep trying to sell me.

If you mean Miller then no but if you mean Wilson then ok. I'll let you cash that lottery ticket or not :)

thanks for screwing me in other leagues David Wilson :(

A neck injury will keep New York Giants running back David Wilson out of Thursday night's game in Chicago, but it is not just the short week that is keeping Wilson on the sideline. A source with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday that Wilson would seek a second opinion in the coming days, and that it is possible he could miss more than just the one game if further examination reveals a more serious problem than was originally feared.

Wilson left Sunday's Giants game against the Philadelphia Eagles after the fourth quarter when he felt tingling in his arms and was examined and treated for a neck injury, according to the team. Neck injuries can be very serious, of course, so it is no surprise that Wilson is determined to take every precaution to make sure he is okay before returning to the field.

To replace Wilson on Thursday night, the Giants re-signed running back Da'Rel Scott, who had been cut last week. Scott and Brandon Jacobs are likely to share carries in Wilson's absence against the Bears, though there remains a chance rookie Michael Cox could work his way into the mix as well. If Wilson does have to miss more than one game, the Giants could find themselves in the market for a free-agent veteran running back next week. They have 10 days off between this game and their next one. One of the reasons they brought back Scott was that they only had three days to prepare for the game against Chicago and he already knew the playbook.

But I'd rather do a deal for Manning. I'll trade you Jamaal Charles in the deal if you can come up with something.

The problem with that trade is you are asking for foster.
I cannot weaken my running backs in any trade.

when people make trade offers they need to take the other teams needs into consideration
