I am not the commish and I dont make the rules.
But since the league has been established already as a draft league I think it would be wise to keep it that way.
I envision this league being a yearly thing with with a solid core of 9 or 10 regulars with 2 or 3 new additions every year.

Only way to do that is to have the same basic rules every season.

I would love an auction league.

If one of you wants to start an auction league for a decent sum of money I will be happy to sign up as long as I trust the money holder.

But for this league lets keep it the way it is.

Hache is there any chance you could start an auction league and maybe start the buyin at like $2-250 and see if it fills?

I know $500 action is pipedream but $250 seems like it might be doable...

Do you want one of us to make a new thread inquiring about it Pats?

Or should we use this same thread to gather interest?

pats, no reason you can't start that thread. You don't need a mod or someone else to start it.

start one up. I will sign up

Yeah I just figured if hache starts it might draw more interest faster (if he was interested in joining it)

Also I wasn't sure what the right buy-in to put on it. I realize $500 probably isn't getting filled (or maybe it would? I dunno, I have no clue)

I'll be honest I'm not really interested in doing it for like $100, $2-250 would be decent but $500 would be cool too...

Hache do you want me to start it or ?

Do we have a list of the players who played last year that have not checked into the thread this year?

Pats you going to start a thread on this? Trying to get an offline auction league going but doubt we'll get enough for 12 so I'm thinking a forum-based league would be cool.

Not to sound lazy but I really have no interest in forming the league, just joining it....If you or Hache want to form it I will likely join

Chop - were you the commish of this league?
it might be a good reminder if you send out the official Yahoo invite so people can start signing up there. (and just remove the guys who are for sure out)

looks like 7 of the 12 have checked in.

people like awmllc were probably busy with WSOP - so the actual e-mail from yahoo is a good reminder.

either way, we should set a cutoff and then decide when to take reserves.
