and as long as people are complaining.
you have a co-manager - that is dumb, allows 2 dudes with no time on their hands to watch rotowire and pick people up while some of us have jobs

i am booting your other manager

just kidding
but maybe

Also - PatsFan wasn't lying. he will definitely give you FULL VALUE.
he offered Colston and Moreno for McCoy.

yup, definitely a "full dollar"

#4 WR and #15 RB
for
#18 WR and #2 RB

Don't see any collusion there.

I actually almost rejected it - polled about 10 of my FF friends and 6 said do it, 4 said no.

it leave me thin at WR
Gives his team solid WR

if anyone has legitimate gripes about this let me know

ok, the more i think about this, i don't like it.

McCoy is injury prone. Thompkins will lose looks when Amendola and Gronk come back.
I gave up a WR in highest scoring offense ever, and a RB with a ton of upside who is starting to get majority of work in Cincinnatti.

Therefore - LeSean McCoy is on the trading block again.

Patsfan - feel free to offer something better than #4WR and #15 RB, since that deal wasn't good enough.
Jimmy Graham, Alfred Morris and somehting else maybe?

If this is true and would have gone through I would have been pissed.

Pats, I hope this is not what you call giving full value for a dollar

Hey everyone, I'm Walter White in the league, Alex in real life.

First, thanks for letting me join y'all this year. I've been looking for a high stakes league to join, and when thedude24 let me know there was a spot open, I got a nice warm feeling in my pants over the thought of playing with people taking a league seriously and for high reward. I wasn't originally a part of this board because I don't do sports betting outside of fantasy, but I was alerted to the fact that my trade was being viewed as "clown shit". So, here I am defending my honor haha.

First, to everyone, I can assure you there's no collusion between thedude24 and myself. It's laughable to think that. If that were the case, I did a pretty poor job of it then judging by my 0-4 start.

PatsFan1283: I did appreciate your offer for McCoy. But when I compared it to others, and I can promise you that you weren’t the only one that sent me anything, it was the worst proposal:

Colston – Meh, not huge on him. Puts up decent numbers but Brees likes to spread it around. Plus I have Sproles on a different team and I don’t like rooting against my own players in different leagues.
Moreno – Yes, please give me a RB in a 3 back time share with one of the best passing offenses in the league with the Terminator as their QB. Plus, he's injury prone and once Ball gets his act together, his carries will drop.
Bell – I would LOVE to take a busted RB that has a foot injury on a broken team with a broken offensive line playing in a division that has good defenses he has to deal with. Plus, his week 14-16 matchups are good against the run. If by any chance I get into the playoffs, I don’t like the matchups I face.

So I fail to see how that offer helps me with getting more WR depth and still gives me a decent RB that I can rely on every week.

To your point about me "not bothering to counter": Honestly, the only person I would have wanted was Graham and that doesn’t help my WR position. Morris doesn't do anything for me, and Johnson is a train wreck waiting to happen. Maybe if your bench wasn’t full of scrub RB's and had some WR depth to help me out, I would have considered countering. But you didn’t have anything that I wanted. Supply and demand, you had no supply, so I had no demand.

To your point about me "not opening the bidding": The beautiful thing about the trading block is that everyone in the league knows when someone is put on there. I believe if you go back far enough you will see that I added McCoy on the 23rd at 3:14 PM. Which is over a week ago. Hopefully you had the chance to log in and see that then. If not, can’t help that you didn’t see it. I didn't realize that I was expected to announce my every move for a trade to everyone. I'll make sure to outline my strategy for all roster moves in the future.

My intent was not to start any drama over this trade, nor is this post intended on starting anything either. But, calling something "clown shit" and insinuating that I and others have been less than fair in the league is insulting.

TheDude24 had pieces that I wanted, and we were able to work something out. The trade makes us both better, I get some help at WR and a RB that will eventually be a reliable RB2 later on in the season. TheDude24 gets a top 3 RB that's currently healthy, but that could change, and a WR that should get more room to run when the main weapons of NE come back. Plus, he seems to be getting on the same page as Brady and has put up good numbers the last few weeks. Pretty fair deal, IMO.

Welcome to therx angry bear.
I hope you are not too upset at me pulling that Legarret Blount move late Sunday. LOL

Anyway about the trade I think its fair and I dont see any evil intent.

Would I have made that same trade?
Probably not.

But I do see thought process behind the move.

I think Patsfan is discounting Bernard too much.

I think by the end of the year he could be a top 5 back and every single person in the league undervalued Welker this season.
He had no business being drafted as low as he got drafted.

All 12 of us messed up on that call.

Nobody wants manning?

I can't give up one of my top two RB's for Manning. I'm in a hole, and I simply need both of them and then Brady's numbers have to improve for me.

WR still killing me, I need Nicks to start taking some numbers away from Cruz and I need Amendola back fast

For the record I was the one that offered Brandon Marshall and Lamar Miller for McCoy and Dwayne Bowe (not Kenbrell Thomkins). I thought mine was a better offer but Alex went another way...

I suppose a lot of it has to do with your trust that McCoy will stay healthy. But to the current McCoy owner I would still take McCoy if you're looking to move him. Lamar Miller and Jordan Cameron for McCoy and Jared Cook. I sent you an email but I go back and forth myself about parting with Cameron...

weird - Patsfan is complaining about something, who would've thought.

By "open up the bidding" do you mean posting it on the message boards? b/c he did that - and he got tons of offers. the best one was Lamar Miller and Brandon Marshall.
Then he offered me McCoy for Welker and Bernard

Been busy all day so haven't been able to respond....

1. That was my first offer...I emailed him after and said feel free to counteroffer and he didn't even bother (really he saw NOTHING on my team better than the 2 guys he got from you? Cause I'll bet any amount my 2 best players do better than Gio/Welker for the year) 0-4 team dealing McCoy to a contender is what happens in joke leagues. It is what it is. I made that offer last week......If Moreno/Colston compared to Gio/Welker is so bad can I get like +300 on the pts of those 2 combos for the rest of the year? I doubt it. Its irrelevant anyone as I would've offered way more for McCoy but whatever.

If I really had nothing he wanted that is a subjective opinion and I can't counter it, but an 0-4 team just dealing a contender a top 3 pick for 2 solid guys is garbage.

thedude I'm probably the main reason this league even ran as I was all over trying to get it started but your just a bitter dude who always has some stupid comment to make. Congrats you got your buddy in the league and used him as a minor league team. Good job calling McCoy up to the big leagues, enjoy...

Isn't it amazing thedude with the pieces he wanted was also the person that brought him into the league?

Next year I'm bringing 3 of my friends into this league and only I can trade with them.

Nobody wants manning?

If you really want to move Manning and go with Rivers (or Ryan) You can Have Matt Ryan, David Wilson and Danny Woodhead for Manning...

Probably only makes sense if you think that Wilson will step up now that he's the full time back for NYG...

If we re-draft tomorrow, McCoy goes top 3....Welker and Gio go somewhere from mid 3rd to mid 4th rd.

It isn't the worst rip I've ever seen but if I were thedude I'd act like a little less of a douche after getting a deal like that.

I'd be shocked if you said on the board "Best offer I got for McCoy is Gio/Welker, if anyone can beat that they get McCoy" that you wouldn't have gotten more for him.

I really don't care that much but the logic you guys use is pretty spotty for decision making.

I can't say it is collusion but I really did also think McCoy was sold too cheap. Now that team has McCoy, Reggie Bush and Doug Martin as the RB's.

Doesn't the league also have to vote on trades? What gives?

I'm actually in tons of leagues, too damn many. Some for a lot more $ than this 1, so I just let him be my co-manager for every one but yeah I agree this is more of a friendly league so you can boot him if ya want. I'm just busy as hell right now I need him looking over my other ones and I just attached him to this one. He is kindof my pitbull (owns a business and has computer access all day)

I'll boot him out myself if ya want.

See I'm not crazy....I mean if you are 0-4 you gotta be cognizant of what you are about to do in a $500 league. Dude now has 3 top 5-7ish RBs in a league where RBs value is way more than the other positions because of scoring/roster configurations.

If that is the best deal he could've got it is what it is but you gotta post on the board yo I'm about to deal McCoy better step those offers up. If that is the best 1 you feel you get then make the deal.

I will say this though, if we had to vote on the trade I'd have a tough time voting void on it since it isn't a out and out heist or anything.

The deal doesn't really bother me in itself. It is the whole 0-4 team that knows the guy clearly has an advantage in getting him that the rest of us weren't given and the process of how it went down.

AngryBear you seem like a pretty reasonable guy, don't you gotta atleast consider dealing McCoy when your 0-4 to a good team without fully vetting all other offers might look a little shady?
