So the payouts are as follows correct?:
1st: $3,000
2nd: $1500
3rd: $1,000
Best Record: $500
So everyone ok with this payout?
Why don't we split the 500 between reg season 1st place and reg season high point?
Or better-take 500 from end of season 1st or 3rd to pay reg season high point.
High point person has shown the most "skill" IMO but could easily get hosed in the playoffs.
I don't see a problem with splitting it.
One thing I'm not in favor of is paying $500 to the best record AND $500 to the one with the most points.
It's possible you could be paying the same guy not only BOTH of the things above, as well as placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
Yes a guy with the best record and/or most points could get knocked off in the 1st round, but he could also do just the opposite and roll everybody all the way through...
It's only my opinion that we only commit $500 to either best record, or most points.
I think almost all of the prize pool should go to a guy who places 3rd (or 1st/2nd) for working his butt off making roster moves & such, to get to get to the playoffs.
Again, only my opinion :toast:

But I have the same opinion as TheDude earlier in this thread when he pointed out that he's in this league to win serious dough.
Of course I wouldn't mind getting my fee back in the end but I'm not in this for a full season just to try to win my $500 back in 3rd place lol.
