First stage man..I like hand held controller..Reason I play it is because A- Was my fav and B- Each inch I advance forward is a sight I have not seen in 20 some years..I`ll never beat it on comp I think..I remember when you get to the end it can be pretty hairy..I am not that good playing games of a keyboard.I`m ole school joystick

Yeah that game is a little too demanding to play with a keyboard, I highly recommend that you get yoursef one of those USB Controllers, I just found this badass motherfucker on Google for $30:
