manj, I am going to give you some serious advice. Try proofreading, it does help, at least do spellcheck. I am shocked the Tribune gave you anything other than a mop. Two minutes of reading and I found several mistakes. With all of your B.S. who knows if you are serious about writing, but start with some proper grammar here and certainly use it on a website you are using your name on.
Get serious if you want to be taken seriously.
Amen. His writing is pretty bad, even for a 19-year-old. I'm guessing it may get better when he writes seriously and takes time, but look at the website. Errors on the home page.
Also, there isn't much content at all on the home page, yet you have to scroll down alot. Best simple homepages that don't have much content should be short and sweet and contain links to other pages which you have. Could make that homepage about 100x better.
For a "journalist" you have plenty of grammatical errors and spelling errors all over the site. I hope you don't submit this to a company as part of your portfolio of work. You need to revise this before doing so.
I would suggest talking to Skinsraj about journalism. As stupid as that ****** is regarding his career sometimes, he is one of the best young journalists I've read (look at his thoughtful writeups when asked about certain games), and could help you out. Although I'm guessing you'll say you didn't take the site seriously or whatever.
This thread had me rolling. I can't wait for what comes next.
