I know you're using the four factors for predictive purposes, but I'm unclear exactly how they are applied. It seems to me, that a predictive formula could be devised, but I haven't seen anyone do it with any regularity. In todays game, for example, you have selected FSU, but Duke is rated ahead of FSU in EVERY four factor category.......can you enlighten us on how you apply the four factors?

You're right that Duke is ahead in almost every category I'm using. They are ahead in average win/loss margin, eFG, TO%, FTrate and have fewer losses overall. FSU has a slight advantage in OR%. For this game, because the final numbers for each team are so close, it ends up being decided by home court advantage. With that boost, FSU comes out on top and is a play for me.
all right, man. I'm done with you. I've asked repeatedly how you might be using the data, and you've skirted the issue. I can only assume you're lost or naive....you pick it! Today you picked Florida supposedly because of the four factors, but as I pointed out Duke is ahead in EVERY category. Duke is ranked #9 in eFG% and Florida is ranked #140 Duke is #9 in FT%, Florida is #200...............there is NOTHING "close" about this.
If you don't want to discuss it, that's fine, but you purported to have an insight into something I was curious about. I would love to discuss these items, but quite honestly, I doubt you have any insight at all....as attributed by your record so far.
