I think the point was that his human form meant very little to him, that and if you had a dong like that you would probably flaunt it as well.

I dont think its necessarily the film makers fault that people are sick of watching Super Hero movies, my guess is that opening week all the fans of the book showed up, after that it dropped off because the rest of us, who had no idea what it was all about, assumed that it was just a cheap superhero flick. I watched it on a whim, and am glad I did.

This movie blew the new Batman series out of the water IMO.

Eugene (KMTR) – A man shot himself to death in a <st1:city><st1:place>Eugene</st1:place></st1:city> movie theater just after <st1:time hour="0" minute="0">midnight</st1:time> Monday morning.
Police say about 10 patrons were in an auditorium at Regal Cinemas watching the movie “Watchmen.” About midway through the film some of the moviegoers told the manager they heard a “popping” noise like a gunshot. A 24-year-old man was found in the rear of the auditorium with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say the man shot himself and was dead when they arrived.
The patron closest to the man was sitting two rows away.
