You mean like thawk just did about my wife? You must have missed that.....even righties said you're wrong about this but you keep going anyway
So even though none of this back and forth crap that is going on between you, Joe, and Vit has anything to do with politics, we are supposed to favor a side in this nonsense based on our political stance or we are being biased? You guys are all a joke if you ask me.It's no surprise that even given the heinous actions of Vitterd, you are attacking me. It's quite funny that you actually tried to pass yourself
off as a moderate in here, you're so blatantly biased it's become a joke.

Thanks Mich, I was missing him tonight and gave him a call - he seems to be doing well... It sure is a hard adjustment.
Zit ya brought back a memory. I went to school 200 miles away in the same state, 3.5 hours and a world away for an 18 year old. My dad would call every Sunday night at 11:01. Ma Bell ran the entire country and the rates were 65c a minute from 8am-5pm. They dropped to 18c at 11pm. My dad lived dog tired from standing on his feet at work all day all week so every Sunday night he would call right after 11 when he could afford it. I definitely looked forward to those calls. I think if I were in college today we'd be talking throughout the day since everyone's phone calls don't cost hardly a thing these days.

This is off topic but in my freshman year college....why was I able to obtain 3 credit cards while going to school and working a minimum wage job? The limits were only like 1,000 and 2,000.....but I probably paid back triple that on those things. I don't think it's that easy anymore for 18 year olds to obtain credit.
No I lost him several years ago. I remember him telling me on the phone, "I can't believe I'm 77 years old." 5 weeks later he was gone.
I don't know but I remember these applications were at the counter of every cash register on College Avenue. I never bit myself. I only have 2 CCs right now. All the other free ones I get I cut up.
Dang... Sorry to hear that. Was he healthy at the time? I can tell my dad has slowed down a bunch in the last 6 months. I'm (obviously) not looking forward to watching him degrade further.
I was just thinking..... Why do I want to share such personal details of my life and my dad's loss in a place where all people do is treat each other like shit and wish ill will toward one another?
