once again: no intel service except the us and british sources have indications of any links between saddam and osama.
in your mentioned case you would have wars allover. for example we, the germans had to attack poland because most of the eastern europe mafia comes accross the german polish border (green border). or how about france attacking spain because of the eta operating and threatening some french.

Nor will going against the will of the people. The problem that the right has if Bush backs down is two-fold. If the pres. of the united states is subdued by world/national opinion, his "power" is usurped. He is no longer a single, free entity.
Who would have a problem with a leader listening to the will of his people? A group of people who call themselves "rugged individualists" and like to think of themselves as being self-sufficient. Hence the right's adherence to wanting little govt. influence in their economic lives (but NOT in the social aspect of these lives)... Which are two "qualities" (quoted because they can be either quality or lack thereof).
So anything that questions the presidents "masculinity" (which is directly linked to military prowess) is evil. Evil is the opinion of the people that directly contradicts the will of one man. One mediocre man that now directs the fate of many.
Just a theory.

what i really do not get is who got elected by the us citizens in the past. first you elected a film star now a former baseball club owner - what comes next ? a person claiming to be an alien? these guys are totally unexperienced in doing politics. what a great politic they are doing can you see now. george walker should walk out of the office like a walker should do and be replaced by someone knowing something about politics.

The Aussies will at least fight.

General Patton once said "I'd rather have a division Germans in front of me , than a division of french behind me."

i guess the speech will turnout to make me laugh. this guy is using phrases that are using such simple words that i am wondering to whom he directs his speech. could someone please list his best phrases in here? one of my favourites was "tomorrow is the day of..._"

wasn`t it a great answer by iraq that saddam won`t leave and bush makes his country a joke

Why doesn't most of Europe support war on Iraq? Because no one hijacked four planes in their country and flew them into two skyscrappers their highest military installation and a field thus killing over three thousand of their citizens.

I'm tired of the liberal arguments. We will kill innocent civilians. As opposed to their dictator doing it.

We will make the terrorist mad at us. So we should crawl under a table and let them intimidate us. And attack us at their convenance.

And countries like France and Germany don't support us. With the history of the last 100 years of those two countries i'm glad they don't support us. Those countries that were re-built only 58 years ago by the U.S. will not dictate our foriegn policy. Because the terrorist are after the whale not the guppies.

No other country has intelligence on Iraq having WMD because all of Europe relies on these two countries to provide it for them. And all this crap about the UN, if it works so well and you believe it's the be all end all
why doesn't Germany pick up over have the bill for it like the U.S. does? Save me some money every year.

yeah and slaying babies and young mothers in guatemala, honduras and nicaragua was part of the anti "terrorist" act some years, ago, you are disgustingly ignorant man, learn some history and then come over here strutting your small dick macho shit over innocents.

Wow that is so stupid. You fool America didn't send troops over to those countries to kill women and children. Where are you getting this. Go ahead and Prove it. I guess by your logic the world would be better off if America was not a world power. What are you talking about come where? As for your small dick statement, must hit close to home with you. I don't have to worry about that myself.

go ahead and prove it?

Clinton himself apologised when he visited Nicaragua for the slaying and blowing away of tenths of villages, that's hundreds of people taken off the world map in a matter of days. He said we are sorry for doing that to you and you want more proof than that?!?!?!?!?!!!!!

No of course no troops where sent to Nicaragua, it's just that the contras where armed, equiped, trained and financed from somewhere in langley virginia.

Is there a left that isn't looney in your mind? Or would you just equate being left to being looney?

Here's what you asked for.

Clinton is, after all, the first US president to visit the region since 1968, when President Lyndon B. Johnson made a brief stopover in the Managua airport for a conversation with dictator Anastasio Somoza. Since then, more than 200,000 lost their lives to US-backed military forces in Guatemala, and hundreds of thousands more died at the hands of the army of El Salvador and the death squads of that country and as a result of the CIA-initiated contra war against Nicaragua.

US officials have stressed throughout the tour that Clinton is not making amends for US intervention in the region, but rather telling the governments of the isthmus that they must "move on" from the previous period of genocidal political violence. The closest that Clinton came to an apology for the atrocities committed by the CIA and the US military was to acknowledge that Washington had committed a "mistake" in backing the "military forces and intelligence units involved in the violence."

there are actually hundreds of similar links, do a google with nicaragua apology and clinton to look it up for yourself.

Clinton's out of office now. You might as well rail about Woodrow Wilson; history is written, the present is the only time we can effect change for better or worse.

another lame response by the means of a trueism.

Is that all you can do?

200,000 people massacred, for what? What are the vast resources that Nicaragua had and the u.s. had an eye for? 200,000 slaughtered in a country of a couple of million people, for what, so that these sociopaths at the pentagon send the message, that no country, no matter how small or large can have a socialist goverment for the people without the u.s. superpower coming in and installing their strawmen dictatorship. So much for Stalin and the gullah.

It's saddening and disgusting, but what's more revolting is that a lot of westerners from their comfort of their greedy, braindead consumerism are coldly indifferent to such horrible brutalities.
