DAY FOUR:
Bananas and skim milk. Eat at least 3 bananas and drink as much milk as you can today. Along with the soup, bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates as is milk, but on this particular day, your body will need potassium and carbs. Proteins and calcium to lessen cravings for sweets.
DAY FIVE:
Beef and tomatoes: You may have 10 to 20 ounces of beef and a can of tomatoes, or as many as 4 tomatoes on this day. Eat the soup at least once today.

2 quick questions...

1. Does deli roast beef qualify as "beef" for days 5 and 6? If you get 95% or more "fat free" roast beef slices is that OK?

2. Can you drink skim milk as much as you want for the 7 days, whenever you want? Or just on day 4?

Thanks. :103631605

HarryCarry, I wish I could give you a good reply. But the truth is, I am not the author of that Diet.

I came across it in yahoo search using the words soup and diet.

Thanks for posting this....I usually make chicken soup once a week and eat it the for the rest of the week. This diet is right up my alley. I am going to try it. I want to shed about 5lbs so maybe this will get me there within a week.....

Usually soup works for weight loss because 1) it fills your stomach up quicker, 2) hotter liquid will heat up the body's core thus speeding up your metabolism, 3) it's healthier and detoxifies the body.

She just finished last night. Did not cheat at all and she lost 9 pounds in the 7 days. It flew by for her too, it wasn't bad at all...hardest part was not drinking alcohol.

Does the weight come back after the diet is done? I heard that happens with some other diets in which u lose weight rapidly.

All fad diets are bad becuase you'll never stay on them and if you don't make the correct permanent changes you'll gain back and more. There is just no shortcut or substitute for a proper diet.

3 weeks after coming off the soup diet my fiance had gained 5 pounds back. We are big drinkers though, the water-weight she was carrying around probably accounts for that.
She's back on it, on day 4 right now. She wants to do it once a month. Fuck that!

I am going to start the diet on Wed, I will post every two days and give an update. For what its worth or for anyone who cares. right now my weight is 210. I stopped smoking cigs 2 years ago and went from 180 to what I am now. Smoking refer is not so good either, does anyone know what time is best not to eat after. Lets say I am hungry at midnight can I have a cup of soup?

I think so. That is the beauty of the diet. You're good for most of the day, and a cup might help you sleep better. Well, it is low cal, how bad can it really screw you? You feel full though.
