The Shrink, WTF happened?

Today is the first time I'm hearing about this from Ken. If he wants to talk to me about it, he can email me. Like he should have done in the first place.

Wow, I'm learning a lot of history here... and as someone who rarely checks the RR (where all the background is out in the open)... I hope this gets resolved with Xpanda as I can see she is a great asset to anyone, specifically for RX these days.

BTW, I just saw across the street that The General just made a reply addressing Rick & Wil about the Xpanda situation, FYI.

Just out of my sincere desire to simply understand the background a little better since I've only been here less than a year...

I want to get this organizational structure of the RX "before" and "now" in my mind. Also, names would help a little bit since they are being thrown around like "Ken", who's that?

Before

Owner: Shrink
General Manager: ?
Head Mod: The General


Now:

Owner: "Marty"
General Manager: RickA (Rick Allec)
Head Mod: Wilheim

Did I get this right? I know some would feel like this is ancient history but it's still history (just like how the USA's history, or any other country's history, have many historical information that people would wish not to be brought up).

Thanks in advance for any more information to help posters get the gist of the history of RX (that is public knowledge, naturally).

Thanks, ironically, I just found that out only 2 minutes ago while surfing a thread over there and realized that.

Seriously, I have lurked there occasionally & sometimes I feel like I'm seeing 2nd RX with so many many many same RX people (and avatars to boot) over there! LOL!

I know we make same names (myself included; but never replied to any post there yet) but in the end, why do we do it? It's almost as if we would be better off if the forums play "nice" and actually integrate (as if that'd happen after all those politics going on!!!!) into one larger forum.

Then we poster just have to visit 1 place...

Calvin, actually Marty owned the site for around 18 months to two years and Ken stayed on as a employee of The Rx. during that time before he left and created EOG. Other than that you have got it correct.

Thanks, Wil. I think that explanation confused me more... you saying this: *after* Shrink (Ken) sold the RX, Shrink continued to be an employee under new owner, Marty, for over a year. Then, Shrink resigned from RX to create EOG, albeit only 3 months later after the resignation (as Xpanda pointed out in her great example about Coke/Pepsi, which made perfect sense).

I get the gist now after typing that out. Thanks.

I think we need documentation that Xpanda was owed the 2k and stiffed. She should have gone to court if so, thats how I feel. No shit starting but in the real world that's how its done.
