So what's wrong with the article then?

IT'S factually wrong.....school missing, contributions added, etc. Revenue means shit all.

PROFIT and VALUE are what matters most.

Yes it does as i said above. These are not the richest in real terms. Richest would be which teams MAKE the most money and the MOST value. Revenue does not mean a fucking thing and to add contributions is idiocy. Contributions are only counted if given DIRECTLY to the AD. If the donations are to the general fund(which many/most) are they are not counted but are used at a huge rate to fund the AD.

Oregon being #1 is a fucking joke. Likely not in the top 20 in real terms

People who take the time to actually read the article would see they mention that Oregon's figure is inflated because of the amount he has donated.

Reading comprehension must not be a strength of yours.

It's obviously not yours since you don't even know the difference between richest and most valuable.

Try reading this slowly " The 7 Richest Athletic Departments in College Sports " Feel free to use Google if that helps you.

Once again reading comprehension escapes you, look up what the what richest means and profit means, remember Google is your friend.

Just because you have the most money doesn't always mean you make the most money Einstein.

Correct because it does not show private schools like Notre Dame, USC, and Stanford. There's no way you could tell me that USC and ND aren't in the top 5

Of course, it should be noted that these rankings only consist of public schools, as they are the only colleges required to release their figures.

It says right in the article that some schools are not included because they don't release those figures.

Why is profit involved in anything but profitability? Since when does money in the bank NOT mean something akin to being rich? Are you a poor stupid idiot when your rich grandfather leaves you his billion dollar fortune because you didn't make 100 million the same year? Are you just too poor to know how rich you already are?

On the other hand, you can be very well positioned in the profit column but otherwise be piss poor because of some ill-advised budget expenditures in prior years which took you down a few notches in the "richest" department. It's you who is not understanding the question behind the list. OK, I am ready for a glib response from you. Let's hear it.

so Mr Domer must think the Fortune 500 are ranked by profitability, not revenue? too funny! seriously has Amazon ever posted a profitable year where they get to pay a whole bunch of taxes (actually might have finally posted a profit in 2014)? Does that make them a poor or unsuccessful company or does their $90B in sales last year actually count for something? in domer's world the mom and pop bagel shop that posted a little profit is richer than Amazon. solid

sorry fella but > revenue = better facilities, higher paid coaches, bigger staff, etc. = richer, stronger program

while you might want to have them ranked by "profit as a % of sales" the true ranking is straight revenue.

CONAN, I've enjoyed reading this debate about "Rich" programs but personally I don't really care one way or the other.

NOW, something of importance...every time I try reading one of your post has become MOST distracting.

I read a line and then this BIG BOOB is in my face...I read another line and the TIT looks even bigger.

Hell, the lady must have NIPPLES like ONIONS..........and you dare consider yourself a football man.

You will pay for all these selfish distractions....and your influence on BidDaddy is shameful...shameful!
