end of the day gotta have your elite players performing. USA needs Sunday production from World #1, JT, Spieth. These three have been disappointing. Cool part is we get to play arm qb, lol. For me 2 big ones: sitting Brooks in the Thursday morning session. And playing Spieth/Thomas in alternate shot Friday morning- how the fuck do you that trigger, Johnson? fourballs sure, but given form no way alternate shot.. madness

why was Fowler sitting the whole day?


kudos to the Euro brain trust - from starting with alternate shot to the layout for the course-which has worked like a charm. USA's wedge game statistically is better than Europe's. How to minimize? have long par 4's /doglegs and a bunch of very short drivable par 4's.. You are seeing very few wedge shots out there. Also, the Euro's statistically are more accurate off the tee. How to take advantage? narrow the fairways , intermediate , rough.... and introduce nearly unplayable rough .

despite all that tho, this Ryder Cup could b way closer into Sunday if not for the ridiculous theatre late Thursday afternoon. THREE matches went to the 18th with USA leading 1-up in ALL OF THEM. BOMBS by Hovland, Rahm and a 10 footer by Rose all go in .
