Thank you Rx and forum members!

As the Shrink has mentioned, we are located in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1:place>Costa Rica</st1:place></st1:country-region> and let us say that we are very excited to be part of TheRx.com community.

724 SportsBook.com is the product of over a year and a half of careful preparation in tech set up, personnel and management. We officially opened <st1:date Year="2004" Day="6" Month="12">December 6, 2004</st1:date> with Larry Mac as our Line Manager.

Financial back-up is very solid for those of you asking! We have sufficient funds provided by a large group of investors which have ventured into this arena.

We encourage you to visit our web site and take a look around our book, casino and race track. If you would like to check out our lines, you may do so at http://www.724sportsbook.com/lines.asp.

As a new book, all we can say here at 724 is thank you for welcoming us aboard and we look forward to a very long lasting and amiable relationship with you all.

We will eventually offer TheRx.com members some very nice promotions, so make sure to be on the look out!

Once again, thank you for welcoming us on board.

Carolyn- Welcome and good luck. Regarding horses, is there a place on your website that addresses maximum payouts? I only saw where you said "it varies by tack"

I love the new books

when NEWPORT calls them and asks

"DO YOU PAY "TRUE ODDS" PAYOUTS on parlays wih money lines??

It starts communication around the office in multiple languages, and every gets ruffled

Then I have to provide a math lesson.......and they say

Call us tomorrow, and we will have an answer....that means if I hit them for a 5 teamer with + side money lines....I would not be their best customer anymore. No thanks

I love playing the ponies offshore. HOW fast do you grade the winnings?? So far only Pinny and Carib grade within minutes of official results. Most others take up to an hour. Very important in my signing up!

jfs- I use VIP from time to time, they do not pay true track odds, but they do grade pretty quickly.

Wow, there are nice people around this forum. Everyone is so sweet. I'll play the devil's advocate and say what I believe needs to be said (except I'm not actually "playing" - this is what I really think):

This is an upstart book in Costa Rica that is currently measuring it's time operating on this planet in single-digit weeks. Yes, they say your money is safe and you shouldn't worry. Here, in fact, is a clip from the website:

5. How do I know my money is safe?
We have a perfect record with our customers. Our directors have been in the gaming industry for years with an impeccable record. Therefore, you can be sure that your money is safe and secure with us.

Wonderful. I guess that solves everything.

I'm glad there are people willing to be guinea pigs for upstart books like this. If they're still around in two years and have kept their nose clean, I might think about posting up. Or perhaps if the hundred or so books that are ahead of them on my list right now all fold, I'll get in their sooner. Until then, there is no reason.

Sorry. It's not my desire to be a dark cloud but that is what I can't help but think. To their credit, they don't have an outrageous bonus system so they seem serious from that standpoint. And I am appreciative of them coming on board as an advertiser at theRX.

Good luck to book and players.

Groucho,

To each his own. But I believe the Rx wouldn't take any advertiser on just for the cash. I'm sure they did some backround check on this shop. After the PanAm fiasco there will be more plus sides to play with advertisers here than minuses. I for one am waiting to hear their payout time on horses, this will give me an idea if I want to play there or not! Most shops grade sports the same time limit but horses they differ much more. No response yet but I'll wait. Remember every shop that has been around for a couple years were new at one time and need players to be operative!

Aceduecetrey,

You may find our Horses payouts at the following link:
http://www.724sportsbook.com/contact.htm . Feel free to email me or give us a call if you have any more questions.

JFS,

Horses are graded as soon as the official results come in.

Newport,

Our Odds Payouts are not True Odds, these are our calculated odds.

Thanks agaian and I'll try and keep up with any further questions!

What's the difference between true odds and calculated odds? Are calculated odds another word for fixed odds?

Jim, you're joking by stating that theRx wouldn't take on any advertiser just for the cash right? That's all they have to go off of as of now until they prove otherwise or they wouldn't have taken a relative unknown on and place them besides a Pinny, CRIS or other longstanding book. Having someone that came from a successful shop means jack crap to many now in offshore because it doesn't ensure success. Money and sound bookmaking do.

General.

I am an obvious idiot,

Can you or another qualified candidate

EXPLAIN to the forrum

What it means to have a casino pay the "true" payout on a parlay with PLUS SIDE money lines included. Or DOGS in baseball.

NEWPORT has failed on this one:smoker2:

This is right off of their website. I am shocked that they DO NOT allow ML parlays.

I just called them to ask some basic questions:
1. Can you deposit by Western Union and withdraw by Neteller or Prepaid ATM?
2. Do they do payouts 5 or 7 days a week?

The girl I spoke to, Amy, was very nice however she was clueless. She put me on hold and then said I'd have to call back tomorrow as "customer service was closed". I asked when customer service was open again and once again I was put on hold. That's real reassuring. It did sound like they have about 4 employees. Thanks but no thanks.

The linesmaker is so proud he is from CRIS, and he knows CRIS paid true money line odds in parlays, he even said yes I know what you mean,

BUT THEN he sent me a note on this forum, yes we do

and their it is in the FVKIN print no money lines in parlays

I love the international flavor of FVKIN just LIEING to your face, it makes TRULY believe that even after 911, and war, and everyhting else

There are still places where Al Pacino and his life as Scarface "Tony Montana" still VERY MUCH EXIST

they would sell their mothers for a dollar, and lie to their best friends

for the :money8:
