BTW cbs sports payout percentage is less than 60% in prize leagues....no thanks. A$500 entry fee league only pays out $3500 total prizes.

I'm going with APEX. Highest payout percentages among reputable sites. I'll just have to get used to using PPR for the first time ever. A $500 entry fee on APEX pays out over $5000

Masters and Apex are about the same.

Definitly some different scoring formats then I am used to. Apex even uses a 2 game a week system where you play one game against a random opponent and another against the league avg.

Anyone have any insight on how draft strategy and lineups change when you are in a PPR league and Qb's only get 4 points per passing tds against 6 for rbs and wrs?

How do you guys feel about antonio brown being a top 5 pick in a ppr league?

I'm starting to feel pretty bullish on cj Anderson if you were to land somewhere in the middle of the 1st round.

I would take him ahead of lynch and forte in ppr. I see him ranked after the 4 elite rbs and antonio brown. I'd say gronk is right behind him

yeah Graham is good value. TE is pretty shitty right now too. Gates suspended 4 games, Witten is old, V Davis sucked last year.

Seattle probably gonna throw Graham about 20 TDs from the 1 to justify their SB decision.

I think because of how pitiful the rest of the TE's are you could justify picking Gronk top 5 overall. BUT the Brady suspension hurts him a lot more than people think imo

I picked up two mags this year. One, I have used for many years - Fantasy Football Index. The other looked good so I got it - Football Graft Guide. I am happy I did.

I got them both at Barnes and Noble.

Good luck.

I have the 7th pick, I am pretty sure who are going to go picks 1-6. With that being said, I have been on CJ Anderson for a while but with the talented pool and depth of RBs, I have been entertaining the idea of Antonio Brown.

who would you draft at #7, Anderson or Brown?

Brown won't be there at 7, at least not in a ppr league like mine. Probably won't even be there in standard leagues either. Keep in mind that with Jordy nelson amd kelvin benjamin now gone for the year, the list of #1 fantasy receivers isn't as deep as once thought.

Anderson is your guy with pick 7. This is assuming the guy picking 6th doesn't love him as well. Most likely bell, lacy, peterson, charles, brown, and lynch will come off the board before you pick. There are better spots to draft but be thankful you aren't in the 8-10 range

Best pick in the draft is #4. That's the sweet spot this year that guarantees you one of the elite 4 running backs and anot her strong pick coming back.

Picking 5th isn't bad either. Could get lucky and have lacy, bell, peterson, or charles fall to you and at a minimum you're guarenteed antonio brown.

is Lacy worth a top 5 pick? i don't know if I'd consider him having a successful season last year, as he was ranked in the top 10 last preseason (I could be wrong) and this year he is ranked top 5. I am probably nuts but in my standard league (no PPR) I'd take CJ over Lacy.

Lacy is #2 on my big board behind Bell

I think he could be legitimately considered as the #1 overall pick this year. He's an out of this world talent with size and speed, in one of the leagues best offenses, just entering his prime, and is an all around back. I even move up his value just another tick with the departure of Jordy Nelson. I think that results in 3-5 more carries a game. What's not to like? In my opinion out of the 4 elite backs (peterson, charles, lacy, bell) he is the safest pick of them all.

JC has a big board.

Seems crazy for Lacy to be the #1 RB when his qb is also #1 although I would take Luck before Rodgers. The Colts will throw over 600 times this year provided they are not blowing everyone out.

Agree

I had luck ahead of rodgers before Jordy went out but now there is no question

I'm starting to like Randle of the cowboys more and more. Think he is an absolute steal in round 3. Runs behind a high powered offense with the best Oline in the game and you just know mcfadden will get injured. Cowboys have tough fantasy playoff schedule but I can see Randle putting up RB1 numbers this year.

I'd go Lacy over Anderson. Hillman will play a lot, he was pretty good last year before he got hurt.

Lacy has a higher built in floor too as his star QB in his prime isn't really at risk of falling off a cliff.

Valid points. Good looks, JC and Pats.

My round three focus has been on Brandin Cooks. If he's there in the 3rd, I don't know how you can't take him (especially in a PPR league).

I like Cooks as well, I'm just afraid he's being overhyped into a higher ADP then he should be

Now with the Steelers all pro center out for most of the season (and his 2 game suspension) is it time to knock Leveon Bell from his spot as the #1 fantasy pick??? Pittsburgh also has arguably the toughest fantasy playoff schedule btw.

If I was picking first tomorrow I would go with Eddie Lacy. Bell is now second on my big board
