How do you think "Don Chambers" got his start as a handicapper?

Was he tagging along with Sean Michaels selling his picks as part of a phone service? Did he used to play poker and travel casino to casino with Bob Valentino? Was he running parlay cards at the age of 8? Was he domintating the Vegas Sports Books with Anthony Redd and Andy Fanelli? Benton writes this after going 1-1 yesterday and dropping 12.5 Dimes...

Yesterday, I scored an easy 15 Dime NBA playoff winner on the Grizzlies-Thunder game going OVER the total, which means I’m now on a 24-15-5 run with 15 Dime NBA selections. In fact, I’m on a 10-4 roll with all 15 Dime releases (hitting seven of the last nine), and that includes a 2-for-2 effort with 15 Dime baseball plays as well.

What??? No mention that he dropped his 25 dimer on the Celtics or that he's down 136.5 dimes for the week? I am Shocked! LMAO!

He's so proud of his 15 Dime "roll"...is he not just as proud of his 1-7 roll on 30 dime plays for April?

Well first of all his name is DOM not DON. At least have the courtesy to get this make-believe cappers name correct, lol.

I have his bio right here... Dom was born a poor black child. He remembers the days, sittin' on the porch with his family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi... Oh wait, that was Steve Martin from the movie THE JERK.

Don't know what to say, guys. I continue to bust my ass each and every day -- I'm talking working 12 to 14 hours each day -- in an effort to get on the right side of games and nothing I do is working right now. I just cannot catch a break, and if you think you're frustrated, mutliply that frustration by 1,000 and you'll be close to understanding how I feel.

I take this job very, very seriously -- always have, always will -- and because of that I don't take losing lightly at all.

All that said, please remember these two important facts: 1) Nobody will ever outwork Jeff Benton, and I mean EVER; and 2) I've been through these downturns before -- more times than I care to remember, in fact -- and yet I always find a way to not only pull out of these funks but come out better for it in the end.

Rest assured, I will do it again.
