I think I may just try a new strategy. I'm going to fade max Pick Nation plays and flat bet them. Hopefully hit 55%. It seems these guys routinely fail on their big plays and when tracked among all of Service Play handicappers this ended up being around 57%. I feel Pick Nation fades played a role in that.
Since each handicapper has slightly different unit systems and tendencies to release big plays here is what I have come up with.
Play by fading these:
For Baldo it's a 30 dimer.
For Jordan it's a 1,000 units+ play.
For Maxwell it's 600 units+ play.
For Rivers it's 500 unit max plays.
For Adams it's 1,500 units and above plays.
For Lang, Benton, Valentino, O'Brien, Michaels, Tyson, Garrett, Atkins, Cannon and Budin it's plays 50 dimes and over.
For Redd, Nover, Fanelli, Delaney, Mcneil, Mancini, and Davis it's 75 and over dimes. These are more big dime handicappers.
Benefits of this is these guys usually choke on these plays. Another benefit is the fact that somebody buys and posts the big plays on that site so I can get it confirmed in the Service Play Forum. I'm simply going to bet 2 units a game on these and this will help me be more selective overall.
In the event these guys are on opposite sides I'll throw the pick out.
I know it seems like a cheap start to this but I came up with this idea on Thursday when DeMarco lost his 30 dimer with Villanova and Michaels lost his 100 dimer on Temple. Budin is 4-4 for basketball per Joe's thread on plays greater than 50 dimes. I had some partial tracking numbers on this for this year and this is my probably inaccurate listing.
Since I've been tracking Valentino he's 1-3 on these such plays. Mcneil is 0-3 (SW Missouri State, Syracuse losing to Seton Hall outright and one other college one I can't remember). Delaney is 0-2 (Notre Dame losing to Louisville and Gonzaga beating to St Marys).
Nover lost his 100 dimer with Texas yesterday. Atkins lost his 75 dimer on UNC. Cannon dropped a 75 dimers earlier in the year.
Issue here is I don't have Redd's figures which are key. Just think about his Super Bowl.
Budin (4-4)
Valentino (1-3)
Michaels (7-7)
Nover (0-1)
Davis (4-3)
Jordan (0-4)
McNeil (0-3)
Delaney (0-2)
DeMarco (0-1)
Lang (1-0)
Atkins (0-1)
Cannon (0-1)
Simply a guess to show this may work: 17-30 Record
