Philadelphia 76ers at Los Angeles Clippers (-1)
Both the Clippers and 76ers have had their moments this year.
Blake Griffin has helped Los Angeles become relevant again with his rim-rattling dunks and the team may have been a much better bet this season if it had been able to stay healthy.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia has been a scrappy team all season and is now looking to hold onto one the last playoff spots in the East as the club continues to pad its supporters’ pockets – the 76ers sit third in the league with a 41-25-1 record against the number. However, with the playoffs nearing, Philadelphia is sputtering.
“We’ve had some slippage losing two in a row and with the playoff push coming down this last stretch, we just gotta catch ourselves and hopefully we’ll get back on track in L.A,” 76ers guard Lou Williams told reporters.
The Clippers are tough at home and this one could go down to the wire.
Pick: Clippers

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Wichita State Shockers (-4)
The NIT is full of teams that are happy to keep playing, but can’t help but think what might have been. Nebraska is one of those clubs after the Cornhuskers lost and failed to cover in four of its last five games.
Some of those losses were pretty ugly too as th7e couldn’t get it done against the likes of Texas Tech, Iowa State and Oklahoma State.
“We’re disappointed in that two weeks ago we were playing for a chance to go to the NCAA tournament,’’ Nebraska coach Doc Sadler told reporters. “But the fact is we didn’t get it done. And the next best thing is the NIT.”
Doesn’t sound overly enthusiastic, does he?
Meanwhile, Wichita State wasn’t much better down the stretch and has covered only once over its last six outings, but we see the Shockers getting up for this home game and relying on their depth to get past Nebraska, which has just one true road victory this season.
Pick: Shockers
