I'm looking back on how profitable a Lang fade would be any given year, or if you wanted to do what most of use realize is a long term winner for sure, but maybe we don't know the variance or how much on average (NFL into playoffs/through Jan). I'm also about to look at pure NFL and college plays for the last 3 years. Here's what I find, thanks to Pimpy's tracking:
Currently, you're up about 270 dimes this year if you started betting when the NFL season began. This year's amazing Fade is somewhat of an aberration, as Lang lost TONS of dimes on MLB in the middle of the year.
In 2023, start when NFL starts, fade is up roughly 100 dimes (all plays). NFL regular season he was down 98 dimes, college down 248 dimes. In just December 2022 he was down 1460 dimes - bowl season typically amazing for the fade.
In 2022, NFL regular season he was down 840 dimes. College up 1720 dimes, but bowl season down 575 dimes. Fade was up 230 if you started and bet all in September when NFL begins.
In 2021, he was down 1770 if you faded from September to early January. NFL that year he was down 560. College down 770. Bowls down 290.
In summary, I think the best fade is during December only (I think historically then just bet weekends in January), if one had to be strict. Sometimes he is worse in NFL in November (last year), but mostly he shits the bed in December and during college bowls. The rest of the year you'd just be having fun betting against him if you can't handicap yourself and you like it.

It's plain and simple, I am on fire in college football this year.
Last night I pushed my college football record this year to 13-5 with a 4th straight 100 dime winner with Western Kentucky (+3) 31-14 Outright over Sam Houston State.
And of those 13 winners, 12 have been underdogs outright including 5 getting double-digits.
Let's start with Georgia Tech (+11) outright over Florida State, Boston College (+16') outright over Florida State and BYU (+11) outright over SMU.
Then UNLV (+10) outright at Kansas and Tuesday night New Mexico State (+12) at home outright over La Tech.
Then there's USC (+4') outright over LSU, BYU (+7) outright over Kansas St, Alabama (+1) over Georgia and Syracuse (+6') outright over UNLV.
Then Arizona St (+5') outright over Utah and LSU (+3') outright over Ole Miss.
And of course last night Western Kentucky (+2') outright over Sam Houston St.
The only favorite winner was Friday September 27th with Rutgers at home (-2') 21-18 over Washington.
Which brings us to tonight.
Looked long and hard at Boston College/Virginia Tech and Georgia St/Marshall but I absolutely love this Thursday night NFL match up between the Broncos/Saints.
