LANG'S PICK: DETROIT LIONS -2 1/2 (-130) BOUGHT 1/2 POINT DOWN

Continued this great start to 2025 as my 100 dimer on Buffalo (-4) in the Bahamas Bowl was an absolute domination 26-7.
That was after Friday's 75 dime winner on Minnesota 1st half (-6) dominating V'tech 21-10 and Thursday's 150 dime winner on Notre Dame 23-10 over Georgia.
I said I was going to finish this College football season strong and starting the new year with 3 straight bowl winners is just what the doctor ordered.
We have 3 college football games left: The semi's Thursday and Friday and then the National championship game 10 days later.
Plenty of time to get to those winners.
Today is about going a perfect 4-0 in football here in 2025 by banging home my first 200 dime release of the new year.
It's stronger than the 75 dime winner on Minnesota 1st half Friday and stronger than the 100 dimer on Buffalo Saturday.
And it's stronger than the 150 dime winner Thursday on Notre Dame.

It's hard to see what will happen with the Lions and Vikes tossup, and also the Chargers and Rams might lose which also changes seeds ... I guess I'll just leave it to later tonight when the lines will come out anyway.

The Pick: My 60 Dime winner is the Rutgers Scarlet Knights

My Analysis
As big a trap line as I have seen this year.

This 11-3 Wisconsin team rolls into Rutgers tonight off a 31-point home win over a 10-3 Iowa team putting up 116 points going 21 of 31 from beyond the arc!!

So my question is why are they not laying more??? My god, why even play the game????

Now, let's dig into this one a little more.

This Wisconsin team has played 5 games away from home, 3 on a neutral site and 2 true road games.

The neutral site affairs were beating UCF and Pitt in the Greenbriar Classic in West Virginia and beating Butler in downtown Indy.

The 2 true road games were losses at Marquette 88-74 and at Illinois 86-80.

I need to see more of this team on the true highway before I shove all in on the Badgers.

As for Rutgers, they roll in here a perfect 8-0 at home this year as their 6 losses have all come away from home.

They come off an 84-74 loss to Indiana, playing the game without leading scorer freshman Dylan Harper, who missed the game due to and undisclosed illness.

Without him in the lineup, fellow freshman Ace Bailey tied the school record with 39 points but it wasn't enough.

The good news is Harper returns tonight so the Knighs will be at full strength.

This team played Alabama to a 5-point game in Vegas, easily covering the 11 1/2 and the next night played Texas A&M to a 4-point game covering the +5 1/2.

I am telling you folks, with Harper back in the lineup, this team will be ready to go.

Give me this live home dog all night long.

Waited all week for this game because I knew the Detroit Lions were going to do what they did all year long........win at home and win big.

One of the biggest things I said in my breakdown of the game couldn't have been more on point.

Well if he wasn't going to be worth a shit, why play him!!!!!!!!
Rutgers head coach Steve Pikiell sat out freshman star Dylan Harper at Indiana last Thursday because of the flu.
He announces on Monday Harper will play so Vegas puts the line at Badgers -2. What a complete baboon of a basketball coach as Harper was absolutely worthless.
Harper plays 15 minutes and was completely worthless.
Averaging 22 points a game, Harper attempts 2 shots, misses both and doesn't even play the last 12 minutes of the ball game in the 12 point loss.
The other freshman phenom Ace Bailey, who scored 39 at Indiana is just as bad going 3-16 from the floor for 9 points.
Pikiell should never have played Harper and the line would have been -7 and I don't go near it. The guy really is an average basketball coach.
Live and learn I guess. Got sucked in and paid for it. I'll get my money back involving that team down the road. Just you wait and see.
After the glorious 200 dime winner on Sunday on the Lions for a 3rd straight rock solid winner, it was pathetic to watch that game last night.
However, I will bounce back with this 75 dimer tonight out west between Michigan and UCLA.
