The Pick: My 100 Dime winner is the Washington Commanders.

The Line:
The current line is -3 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of Noon EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

Note: If your line is anywhere from -3 to -4 1/2 I advise you to buy the 1/2 down on the .

My Analysis
They can't hide him tonight.

Michael Penix Jr had a so so debut last week in the Falcons 34-7 home win over the pathetic Giants.

He was 18 of 27 for 202 yards and a deflected interception.

His defense gave him a 24-7 lead early 3rd quarter and he was able to manage the 2nd half with ease as the Atlanta braintrust didn't have to ask much of him.

He didn't have to execute much under pressure from the Giants but he will have to do that tonight.

The Falcons caught a break in their schedule the last 2 weeks having faced the Raiders and Giants but how did they do against their last 2 playoff opponents?

They got hammered 38-6 at Denver and 42-21 at Minnesota and that was with a veteran QB.

You think Penix is just going to waltz in here and have a day??? Against a Dan Quinn coached defense??

Good luck with that.

I expect head coach Dan Quinn and defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr to throw the kitchen sink at the rookie this evening.

And you will see him struggle right before your very eyes. Trust me, he will throw a pick tonight, maybe even two.

To the numbers? Last 4 times the Falcons have been a non division road dog of 5 or less they are 0-4 ATS.

And the home team in this series has won and covered 3 straight.

Long day for the rookie as the Commanders roll at home.

Was already on the Falcons. Can Washington’s gain anything from a win today? Seems like a prime spot for a letdown spot

Not sure if they have tiebreaker over eagles. If so they have chance at division. Also if wash loses next 2 and Seattle wins next 2 they would be out of playoffs. They could get different seed depending what packers do too.

Anyone who follows college football could tell the coaching advantage and the player advantage

Buffs have a few high talents. QB not 1 of them in my mind. But the teams got holes and distractions

BYU full of guys who played together and usually a bit older due to religion mission they go on early and miss a extra year sometimes

coaching- BYU HC and staff are all legit. Not fringe guys or guys who are there for hype like Warren Sappand the buffs O line coach is obviously out classed , BYU coaches had 3 weeks to prep. Buffs maybe spent 3 days 😂 based on what I saw, they thought they can just show up and out talent BYU. So did asshat LANG

If i had a nickel for everytime Atlanta had a left handed black QB named Mike with a last name that was one letter away from male genitalia I'd have two nickels

It's doesn't seem like a lot, but it's actually insane

Lions apparently have zero to play for here. They “must” win next week though to maintain or improve their playoff seed, That’s what I read and hear

The Pick: My 75 Dime winner is the Detroit Lions 1st Half.

The Line:
The current line is -3 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of 9:03 AM EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.
Since everyone is dying to know why?! Lang is so sharp…

My Analysis

The Detroit Lions take the field tonight with absoutely nothing to play for.

Win or lose, they still have to beat Minnesota Vikings next week to get the #1 overall seed in the NFC and the first round bye.

Now Dan Campbell has stated to the press, "We are coming to San Francisco with everything we got and we are going to win a football game."

I believe you Dan, at least for the first 30 minutes.

In putting together the best season in Lions history at 13-2, the boys from Detroit are 11-3 ATS in the 1st half this year.

I will also point out, the 11 covers in the 1st half are all by 7 points or more, 9 of the 11 have come by double digits.

Week 1 over the Rams 10-3, week 3 at Arizona 20-10, week 4 at home over Seattle 21-7, week 6 at Dallas 27-6, week 7 at Minny 21-10.

Week 8 at home over Tennessee 35-14, week 9 at Green Bay 17-3, week 11 at home over Jags 28-6, week 12 at Indy 14-6, week 13 at home over Bears 16-0.

Finally week 14 at home over Green Bay 17-7 and last week at Chicago 27-14.

Home week 2 to Tampa Bay trailed 13-6, week 10 at Houston trailed 23-7, week 15 at home against the Bills trailed 21-14.

Which brings us back to tonight.

Those numbers above show you the Lions have been the best 1st half team in the NFL this year and I expect them to be on point in the first 30 minutes here.

Last year in the NFC championship game versus a better Niners team, a healthier Niners team, who was actually playing for something.....Detroit 24-7 at the half.

Tonight, the Niners take the field with nothing to play, injuries across the board.

They are missing tackle Trent Williams. They shut down the heart and soul of their defense linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

You throw in missing #2 receiver Brandon Ayuk, a banged up 3rd string running back Isaac Guerendo and this is a wounded and defeated opponent.

One more thing about head coach Dan Campbell to think about.

Last year he was robbed a victory against Dallas because they ruled offensive tackle Taylor Decker wasn't an eligible receiver on a winning 2-point conversion.

Well, the Lions rolled into Dallas this year and ripped the Cowboys 47-9 and Campbell and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson had a multitude of trick plays.

They reported Decker and tackle Dan Skipper eligible on one play that ended in a David Montgomery TD.

Up 37-9 in the 4th quarter they ran a hook and ladder to offensive lineman Penei Sewell.

Dan Campbell wants to destroy the Niners tonight, He wants to make them pay for what they did to his Lions last year.

And I will count on him to do it for the first 30 minutes tonight.
