My Analysis
Going to ride this red hot lefty.

After missing the first four months of the season with a lat injury, Eduardo Rodriguez has come back unstoppable.

His first start August 7th at Cleveland, he went 5 2/3 innings scattering 4 hits and 3 earned in the 7-3win.

His 2nd start 6 days later at home against the Rockies was 5 innings of 6 hit ball and 3 earned runs in the 4-3 win.

His last start on August 20th at Miami was another rock solid gem going 5 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits and 1 earned in the 3-1 win.

Boy are the D'backs glad to have him back.

The Mets counter with Luis Severino.

After getting rocked in his previous 3 starts to the tune of 14 earned runs in 13 innings losing all 3, he has won his last 2.

He beat the Marlins at home 8-3 with 5 innings of 1 run ball and at San Diego 4-0 with a complete game shutout.

So the million dollar question is which Severino shows up???

The Padres start of the road withstanding, he was rocked in 3 of his last 4 road starts losing 12-1 at Seattle, 6-3 at Colorado and 14-2 at Pittsburgh.

The D'backs had their 6 game win streak snapped last night 8-3 and with Rodriquez on the hill, I don't see them losing 2 straight at home.

Ride Arizona at home to snatch game two tonight.

Well, nice to see the Cubs offense stay hot last night putting up 9 runs in the 4th and 5th inning of the 9-5 win and delivering 50 dime winner #6 of 7.
More importantly some much needed momentum heading into this football weekend.
