Back on August 31st I got myself a 75 dime winner on UCONN +12 1/2 over this NC State team and the Huskies got it done losing 24-14.



Trust me folks, the game was a lot closer than the final score would lead you to believe.



Since that win, NC State has played 2 home games: they got destroyed by Notre Dame 45-24 and beat up on VMI 45-7.



So why are they this big a road favorite? Great question. Here is the answer.

Well, let's look at what the Cavaliers have done this year.



They opened up the season playing Tennessee on a neutral field and got crushed 49-13.



Then 2 weeks ago they came home and as a 6 1/2 point dog to James Madison, lost 36-35 on a field goal with 3 seconds to go.



Last week at Maryland, they were tied at the half but lost it in the 2nd half getting outscored 28-0 for the 42-14 loss.



Now back home, here comes their rival NC State, who is 3-9 ATS as a favorite in this series including 0-4 ATS last 4 trips here.



You throw in Virginia 8-1 ATS their last 9 ACC openers, and you can see why the points are very appealing here.
